Thumbs up Link dead during missions fix

No doubt some of you have been grouped with people who did not choose to leave the party during a mission but were disconnected from the internet or kicked from the game if not you yourself. In most other games when you enter an instance if you go "linkdead" there is a 10 min return phase in which you can return to your party and current position (at time of linkdead) I was thinking if something similar could be implimented? Because i remember having to do Hells precipice mission about 4-5 times because i kept link deading at the last boss ( was on a Uni connection at the time with a 2 hour limit ) not to mention other long missions and areas such as the new tomb where party members going link dead only to come back online and really kick themselves because they cant get back.

So in summary, a fix like "Recall to team" when you login be available (for about 10 mins) so that you can instantly join your team where you left off.

Or something along those lines??

I find this great in all, but what about the people who have a hard time at thunderhead keep, They start to lose, everyone but one quits, and then rejoins the battle, and whenever you join a map/arena. You are at max hp and energy, all skills recharged etc.

In missions you're not supossed to get ressed w/o by humans/Henchmen


This could aslo be abused in HoH/Tombs. Your group has died, but like 2 or 3 people are alive, the team quits, then rejoins fully charged, ready to battle.

Forum search is also dead, so scram . Just kidding. But it is dead. And there are more threads than this.

When I went through the tombs at the underworld, i got disconnected and I wanted this option so bad. But this can be exploited(above post).

If they were in the proccess of attacking or being attacked while they get disconnected, then they shouldn't be able to come back alive. But if they do come back, they will have to come back dead where they were. Also maybe leave the body there if they disconnect.

coming back dead would not bother me at all to be honest.. not when youve gotten down to the first boss of tombs with 2 trappers,1monk and 1 ele and then you go l/d (trapper) lol

There ar ways to prevent that from happening. for pve, let them return dead with the dp they had. in pvp...let them sit out the round unless it was in the beginning of the mach (crashed while loading) the first 1 or 2 minutes. second it should be possible to monitor if it was a actual crash or if the person just logged out or closed the game. that way there will be no abuse so problem fixed.

yea exactly reflex, its just when you spend say 3 hours clearing out the new tombs in a small group so your all nearly guaranteed drops and you go link dead i dont think 15% dp would matter that much ^^ :P
