iluvgw, but i really gotta know somthing ANET
ANET on the off chance someone from ur camp reads this..i just gotta know!!..
The buffing of enemy ai to run/escape from AoE skills and spells was awsome, really helped with the tactics of gameplay..but..er..(and im surprised on one has asked this b4) WHY THE HELL do my lovley henchy friends still....
Stand in degen wells
Stand in lava
Stand under AoE Attacks
Srand for the dis-service u do them by allowing this filthy travesty to continue...
I mean guys u do a great job at making the enemy smarter and thats awsome, afterall i kill for sport in GW and i f***ing love it, infact i cant get enough of the game, But the henches...MYY BELOVED henches.i mean why should i have to run 10 (virtual) meters furthur along a passage just for them to get out of an AoE im not even in? i dont get it?? they can't take 2 steps back to get out of it?? i er..i dont understand enemies can so wtf is going on..in short what i really wanna know is..
Do u (or anyone) think that Dumbing the henches down adds to a) the challenge or b) the frustration, factor of the game. (hint) Smartening them up will not make me leave GW i promise. thanx for reading.. JW
Ps. healing npc's whos lives depend on the mission must atleast come in the top 10 things of the "what henches like to do in missions" survey ok. my 2 cents - Long live GW

I found AI's running from AoE skill to be unfair from time to time. Its great for them to be more like human player, who tend to react by running away... in for mob.. thend tend to run back.. and AGGROING OTHER MOB GROUPS!
This made AoE in several PvE situation worst than what they are originally design for....
And yeah.. AI need to smart up.

I absolutely found the AoE running to be just unforgiveable, honestly a pvp group wouldnt do this, because some of us lag or for some reason dont even notice it, a actual group of people wouldnt be suddenly scrambling when somebody used meteor shower.

Yea they would, everyone stands out of meteor showers, maelstroms, etc, why stand in them?

Mhenlo and cynn wanna stand in the fire cos it's warm...but otherwise, yeah, they're annoying. For some strange reason, i was running through hydras trying not to agro, and what do the henchies do at the last second? Spread out. And agro about 10 hydras on our arse.

I myself would be tickled pink if I didn't have to run a 1/4 of a mile away from the henchpeople just so they (typically the fighters) would disengage after they aggro everything.
It's funny how the healers will immediately (well usually) run with me, while Stefan and L.Tom stay for a major pummeling. And no, they're not getting blocked in, they're simply sadists with suicidal tendencies or something.
But ever notice if you're standing right next to either of these two fighters, and you're getting pummeled, and decide you better step back a few feet, then they turn and run away, leaving you with the same creature(s) who you were trying to escape from?
Oh well, I end up giggling about it in the end.
