EXP Level Ranking Insignia
Spinning off from that post of idea I saw before about taking the LV20 off the character’s name (which is a very good idea), I would suggest how about instead of a useless LV20, replace it with some sort of graphic ranking system that is depended on your exp?
A graphical Ranking would be something like that of Military Rank Insignia. (it could be done with various designs, but I will use Stripes, Stars, Crown and 5 color of Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum for my example)
So, say for every “Level” you gain after lv 20, you would gain a Iron Strip, and after 5 Iron Stripes, a Iron Star, and after 5 Stars, a Crown, and after, a Bronze Strip (which now need 2 levels to get one), and so on. (so I guess the highest honor would be the Triple Platinum Crown, which is about 1,125 levels? (the counting may vary depend on what scale to use))
This way, you could sorta Boast more about how much exp you got, and something to aim/grind for (for those who like to grind for that sort of things)
What do people thing of it?

Not to intentionally shoot down your thread or anything, the last thing we need is high level farmers that use rank to exclude others in places like Tombs, UW, FoW, and the like. This seems more extreme than rank. Discouraging lower levels in PvE will scare customers away.

I agree with rogmar. As much as I would like something like this to exist, it would just add to rank discrimination.

Yes, I am aware of this discrimination that exisited in the GW game. Thus a Million Noob Parade down the Tomb, as well as a "Eveyone Is Equal for Group Movement" is also needed.

Maybe if these ranks came from grind free sources, such as increasingly difficult quests I would totally support. But when it's a factor of how long you farm/grind, it's definitely a no.

Yay, more grind! I think it's a terrible idea.
