Re-entering After Disconnect
I Just fought to the last area of tombs and was disconnected, my whole group is now doomed to failure as i was the only monk. It was the Guildwars servers fault as I did not lose my internet connection. This FAULT in the game must be repaired and it should be done so by allowing the person to rejoin the group if they leave, no skills would be able to be changed as it would be a popup box on the character choosing screen saying. "would you like to rejoin your previous party at [wherever u left them]" the group leader must accept the rejoin and everyone stays happy.

I have always thought they needed this it does stink you get disconnected because of server issue when you are almost done with a mission and your guildies get to finish then have to do it again because anets disconnected you.
I hate to compare to Diablo 2 but why can't they do the same thing let you name the game so you can rejion.
have had this happen to me twice will at thunder head working on killing last boss and wham disconnected. I know it's not my ISP cause i get right back into guild wars. and my guild is like what happen we all lagged and you where gone.
Please ANET work on this issue for faction PLEASE. Pretty please with cherry on top

its been asked for a few times now... I will say there is an activly agressive movement in the xfire community to learn how to join a player in game in guildwars... the problem is currently this is against the EULA. yes there are ways to retrive the required information to join an instance. what worries me is the potential for abuse in this way... especially thorugh a 3rd party system like xfire...
imagine looking at xfire and seeing a friend in UW, and you click join friend. suddenly you pop into their instance... wamo... the guy that was there is no longer able to rejoin the group he was in... How can this be abused? well... Lets say a guy is close to the green bosses and refuses to res people. and just waits for people to leave. ok now he gets on xfire and tells his buddies to join his instance for a fast run at the underworld bosses for greens... they all join the instance and bang... instant green drops...
litterally large guilds would be able to do this almost continuosly... just keep joining instances in sequence at the final area...
so ... its a little scary, unless arenanet actually secures a legitimate way of doing this...

Can't even say how many times our guild has wished this option was available. Not sure how it could work, but would be nice if someone's computer crashed -- they come back and have the immediate option to rejoin group (without going to merchant, or changing skills -- no cheats). Just a quick reconnect with a time limit to avoid exploitation.
If this isn't possible to implement, I've seen another really good suggestion: If someone is booted or disconnected, replace them with henchie of same profession. Only down side to that is if you are trying something and don't want henchies.
This idea kinda ties in with the general idea of perhaps giving the party (probably mainly the party leader) some options for different things with the group.
For instance:
Accept booted player back into party or Accept bot inplace of booted member.
Boot a player from the party (perhaps through a vote)
Command henchies to stay put at a selected point
Rearrange party window (order that names appear -- makes the monking a little easier)
Sorry for the rabit trail. I just think that this suggestion of getting reconnected would be nicely coupled with some new "group leader" options.

So what happens if you are getting spiked, then leave. Just to come back 3 seconds later having not died or gained DP. Basically, it is way too easy to abuse, and I firmly believe it will never be added.

Simple to solve only players that were already in the party are allowed to rejoin after a random disconnection, no other player would just be able to jump in to someone’s instance. So in a situation where someone refuses to res and everyone leaves the person alive is the only one left and no one except the original party can come back an join him.

Not if your character remains idle until you re-connect or if you don't then timeout kicks you out and returning is impossible. Timeout probably should be couple minutes.
I have hoped this feature so long. Many PvE sessions and some PvP sessions are ruined because of unwanted disconnects.
