An end to silliness at PVE Tombs
Ok, this has grated my conscience for a wile, so I'm going to speak out. At the end, when you kill the 3 Mesmer "Darkness" thingies, you get this random assortment of green drops, all from 6 different characters whom we don't even know:
Victo
Elswyth
Wenslauss
Kole
Illyana
Milius
Personally I think that's cheesy and should be more like Sorrow's Furnace, where you actually fight the BOSS whose name the weapon caries. So 4th floor in Tombs should have 6 bosses: Victo the Gladiator, Elswyth the Huntress, Wenslauss the Divine, Kole the Damned, Illyana the Deceiver, and Milius the Prolific. Then, you really have to throw down to earn your unique items, and they are actually dropped by the boss who uses them.
Such would make the run a lot more fun and challenging, at least at the end. The Darknesses are pretty lame and easy to kill, and just need to be done away with.

Sounds good and daring since fighting a somewhat balanced mob will be good fun

Victo, He played a role in RP... He was the king of the country that first fell to the Charr.. You know the sorcerer with puffy pants? He was like his counciler or something of the king. I haven't played the whole RP storyine in about 2 months, so I don't know.

I think a great idea would be for a GvG type thing but those 6 bosses vs. your party. That would probably hurt the 4-5 man teams a bit.

Yeah, if you look at what the place is...the Ruined Tombs of the Primeval Kings. And read what the Zeishan say outside then you see that they tombs have been invaded, so it would make sense that you would have to kill the invaders (robbers) down there to get the drops, not the people who they belonged to.

Is it so strange that if you loot the tomb looters, you get the loot the tomb looters found? Some might call it immoral not to return the stolen goods to its rightfull place, but the heroes are the choosen ones ^^

It would be cool if when you encounter the ghostly heroes and your wielding one of their weapons if they would recognize it or something. maybe give you a special quest to do for retrieving it... something like that???

Ok, thanks for the lore on the kings and what not. To amend my idea then, the bosses would be the undead spirits of the 6 kings, weilding the powerful weapons and artifacts they were buried with long ago. I just think the current setup is drab and way too easy.
Place the Darknesses in the center of the HOH map (after the first pair of worms), but their drops are nothing special. Be good for a morale boost before the final stage. When you kill them, the ghosts of the 6 kings appear at the far end of the map, waiting for your party. Each boss will drop 2 greens from his class when killed. Hell, to make it more interesting, put a level 30 Ogre right between the last 2 Chaos Worms. Only one weapon will be able to do any real damage to this beast (we can guess what that is); the only other way to kill it will be with fixed damage spells or degen.

To be honest, I was kinda disapointed when I saw the same basic mobs over and over again throughout all four maps. An 8v8 version of the Zak challenge would be tons of fun compaired to what we have now.

Its basically the opposite of SF weapons wise. In Sorrows, you get the enemies weapons. In Tombs, you get old Hero's of Tyria's weapons. Great idea imo. But also, same enemies for 4 maps as said above is a bit... annoying to say the least.
