Runes for Weapons
I think the 15% Damage Increase (While Hexed, Enchnated, ^50, v50) should be turned into runes.
Minor Rune - 5%
Major Rune - 10%
Superior Rune - 15%
It'd work just like any other rune, and most likely Superior Runes would go up, mostly due to warriors. There would be Runes for Staffs, Bows, Axes, Swords, and Hammers, And they'd come in While Hexed, While Enchanted, While health is above 50% and while health is bellow 50%
Reason for this idea is, I constantly find weapons with a good graphic and max damage, but it never has the max %. Personally I'm not about to go waste 50-70k on a sword just so it could have 15%. So it should be made into a rune you can use on your weapon.

yeah, again, the rich benefit. The sup rune would be 100k in the first week, the major about 50k, and the minor about 2k. It just isn't something to do. If you want those perfect mods, do you know what to do? See those guys with [Collector] after their name? In the desert and beyond they stock perfect weapons of all kinds.

I dissagree with soul shaker cos i reckon itd stay around 100k for afew week but i dont think it'd get less than 50k for ages..
This would muck up prices for weapons tho... Like at the mo getting 15^50 is v rare and then you can mod it perfectly but if there were runes perfect weapons would be even more frequent than alrdy

Ye I know you can go to collector...But having a blue weapon isn't the same feeling as having a gold weapon...so /SIGNED

Sometimes you do get those perfect stat/look weps, but they just dont have the extra stat dmg increase...This would be a nice incentive to keep them, and it might also "deflate" some of the economy's extremely high prices.
/It allows more alternatives.
(also, it would be nice to be able to replace that middle stat from existing weps. suggestion: It should be a replaceable mod.)

Please, no.
Maybe a crafter NPC who can upgrade the inherent bonuses on a weapon, but for the love of god don't add yet another pain-in-the-ass free-floating mod system.

i think the weapons are fine XD
just deal w/ ugly collector's stuff until you have the 50k and blow it on a cool sword. money only buys pretty stuff in the end in a game like Guild Wars

So modding a weapon to make it perfect instead of finding/buying one give you the same feeling?
