To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

X Crusader Ascalonian Squire Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Vancouver, Canada Profession: P/W	Character Creation Improvements Okay, this isn't exactly anything TOO important. But me, I like to take pride in my characters, and when I log in to my account, I WANT to be able to see my characters weapons/shields/focuses/staffs etc. When I show my 4 characters to my friends, I want them to see my godly equipment without actually having to go into the game. And, while we're at it, why not make the character do something interesting while we look at them, and not just stand there. Eh, I'm pretty bored, but I've been thinking about this one for a long time. It's a little weird for me to see my warrior with loads of armor holding nothing but his fists. May not be a priority, but it would be a great cosmetic feature (for me, at least) Thanks, X Crusader. =)
