Remove the monk mursaat frim THK or make it easier.
This level is beyond the usual difficulty, when you put a monk that has infinite energy and armor like a tank in it. Sure this would be simple if you had a mesmer to camp him whenever he cast, but I was a mesmer, and was using henchmen, in this situation if I start getting beat up my a mursaat armor, I need to move, but when I move then henchmen panic and run around without direction.
Meanwhile the mursaat boss is still healing and Regen with his 10 health and infinite energy regen. To top things off even though there is a boss around I am still being swarmed by these POS gank squads.
My suggestions are either of the following:
1. remove the monk mursaat boss
2. When the mursaat boss comes, stop anymore spawns till it is dead, giving the player time to kill it before its millions of buddys come to help.
3. go die somewhere if you want to tell me this level is too easy as it is.

The monk boss is easy to kill if you have a good team... Interrupts 4tw!
Leave THK as it is, it is difficult yes, but it is a nice noob filter

Being a mesmer is one thing. Bringing the right mesmer skills to get the job done is another.

The monk boss was easy as a mesmer - kill off the other enemies *first*, then dump backfire & diversion on him, then interrupt. The damn perfected armor who kept interrupting my split-second-casts over and over (this was before the nerfs to ranger interrupts) on the other hand...
Anyway, try again Beleg, it can be beat and you've got the right profession to beat it.

'Mesmers are underappreciated'
'how d0 i get lots uv munnys?'
'give me build plz'

this might surprise people, but i actually agree.
they should remove the monk mursaat from thk.
...and put him in the ascension fight with the doppleganger. so, ascension will be you vs. your dopple + monk mursaat boss. gg.

Strider, u got the idea from me when i said they should move THk to the first mission outside of postsearing
and no the Murssat monk boss has infinite energy. i actualyl took a mesmer wit henergy burn and bruned it the whole time... still spamming healing skills

Despite all the replies from jerks, I'm gonna agree with the OP, to an extent. My reasoning is that the monk mursaat boss really changes the mission. I.e., there is a big difference if you get this boss or one of the other random mursaat boss spawns. So I could sympathize with the OP, but I wouldn't say removal is necessarily the key. I would say get rid of the random factor. If they want the monk boss as a "noob filter", then leave it there all the time. Otherwise, even things up. Either remove the monk boss, bring it down to the level of the other mursaat bosses, or raise the difficulty of the other mursaat bosses. Basically, make things consistent, and not so that success will hinge on the boss spawn, rather than the group.

No, the mission is easy. Simply ensure a *small* amount of interruption, or a reasonable spike in the build.
I will admit this - I failed this mission the other day, using henchmen, with no skills equipped, because of the monk boss. With no skills on my bar and only henchmen to use I just couldn't overcome the healing. But I doubt it's meant to be so easy you can do it with no skills equipped and henchmen.

I'm surprised that you can't finish mission with henchies as a mesmer. That is understandable if you go with pug, not with henchies

Gee, how polite. No offence, but maybe if you asked for some help rather than complaining that something is too hard to kill, you might be able to do it. The whole point of Thunderhead Keep is to prevent idiots from getting to the RoF, thus, of course the bosses are going to be hard, of course the enemies are going to come thick and fast, and of course the entire darned mission is going to be hard.
My suggestion for you: kill the enemies around the Monk, then focus all fire on it. Use all the most useful skills at your disposal. Interrupt him, cause him damage when he attacks, cause Health degeneration; whatever your speciality is, use it.
On top of it all: don't fret... I was stuck on this mission for around a month.

Yup, go with henchies on this mission is much easier than with PUG. So I wrote " I'm surprised..".
If you go with PUG, they indeed need to remove monk boss jk
