White Dye and Dye Brightner
I thought it would be cool to have an actual "white dye" instead of having to make our own, and end up looking like shit, theres not really a white dye it always turns out to look still really light baish color, I think anet needs to make a white dye, theres a black dye but theres no white dye.
Dye brightner= it would make silver on armors actually shiny, make yellow/red/blue/orange/purple/green brighter, seems that those colors aren't really that bright and silver just dulls them, I mean isn't silver supposed to be shiny? it's like wtf, instead of saying silver they should've just named it grey because it seems its that.
Dye Brighter=makes color dye brightner, and makes silver dye shiny on areas of the armors that are steal/plated
White= an actual white dye, not a crappy silver/grey color.

Closest you can get to white using silver dye is using it on a storm bow. Then you have a classy glow stick.

I think white dye would be a great addition, it would also double as a dye lightener.

Just more dye colors in general would be great.
I would imagine the existing colors...then "shiny" versions of that instead of a "brightener"
I love red and i want shiny bright red...but i cant without adding red to silver and making it pink instead.

hm..yeah, metalic dye would be great.....
brightener and deepener might be usefull...
*save you having to waste cash to make a darker shade by adding black *shudder* i mean..if i wanted a forest green, i would have to add black to green.....owchies*
so...we have dye remover...(which dosent realy do that most of the time lol....)
why not have metalic dye mix...(same bottle as the remover, just has tiny little sparkles on the bottle)
mix thatin and its the same as mixing silver in, but it does NOT lighten the dye...
lightener....a brighter bottle/shade of dye remover that acts like white, but only lightens one shade..can only be used once on a dye and is cheap...
(allows pinks ect)
deepener...a darker shade than the remover..does the same as lightener, but makes things darker..
and of course..white dye....
with deepener and lightener, everyone can have the shade they want, without it costing an arm and a leg, but if you want white or black *pure* you need to buy the proper version of the dye...wich will probably cost more...
but at least if you want metalic, pastels or darker shades, you dont have to spend a fortune on black or silvers

Please, dear God Anet, pay attention to this. Yes, I know, dye is a gold sink, but unlike most other gold sinks wasting 20K on dye experiments is a very unsatisfying prospect, especially with the inability to obtain the shades desired.
I have spent thousands upon thousands of gold and much brain sweat and frustration looking for a good bright copper shade, and as of yet have little to nothing to show for it. Metallic mixes, PLEASE!!.

I really want this idea to be reality aswell. Just because the story is all dark twists and batrayal. Doesn't mean the armor has to reflect it. I want to be able to make a nice light creamy colour like those white mantle warriors.

Normal dye + complete set of metallic dye?? unless they add more space. This seems to be an inventory killer. If they had a potion/substance/whatever that made dye "metallic" that might be better.
And yes, White would be awesmoe

Dye is hardly a gold sink, the players supply the dye and the trader just sells it, taking a small percentage for himself. If the trader actually sold it, rather than hold it for future selling, it would be a true sink.
But sticking with the thread... White dye = good. Lightener = good.
Here's an even better idea. You know that glitch that makes your armor all shiney and awesome? Make that a rare dye drop... Like SUPER SUPER SUPER rare and can only be found once in a blue mood. It would be awesome to see people run around with crazy awesome shiney armor like that.

Couldn't you just make shiny red with {red+black}+silver or {red+silver}+black? I'd be interested to see the result.

To expand on this idea:
Have a whole set of different dye 'effects' you could add to a dye or dye mix. Things like Gloss, Flat, Sparkle, Glow, Crackle, Veins, etc.
Could add a whole new dimension of customization.
Though I do agree we need more colors. A White or "Bleach" as well as a true Gold and Bronze so we can stop trying to find an ideal mix for it. Just make the Gold truly shiny (moreso than Silver) and make it the most expensive in the game.

Before we add more colors how about making a dye chart that makes some sense.
