Suggestion: Paladin Arena
When you play random arenas, 1/2 to 2/3 of all the warriors are warrior/monks with mending, bonettis, breeze etc. As well as that build pwns griffons its a slightly crap build against beings with brains and the ability to adapt. As good as Dolyak signet is at withstanding damage, its not very scary for enemy monks.
My suggestion is create a 1v1 paladin arena for these people so they no longer plague random arenas. It will be awesome for these people. They can wack each other with their FDS' all night while the rest of us enjoy more exciting warrior builds in RA.

Lol, the Wa/Mo village. I think that anyone should be able to try to get in, but 99% of the time it refuses to let you in unless you are a Wa/Mo. That way the 1% of lucky mesmers who make it in there can laugh as they kill wammos by the dozen.
Sure, signed, as long as it is called the Midvale school for the gifted or something equally appropriate.

Makes the world a better place. (there is going to be a 1v1 arena anyways though I am pretty sure.)

Smiting paladins with shield of judgement and retribution will dominate that place.
Signed as long as W/Mos can still go to the normal arena.

But I suggest that it be made a "Warriors' Arena", so that W/N, W/E, W/Me, W/R can participate in the killing of the W/Mo(s).
While we're at it, why not add in?
- Monks' Arena
- Rangers' Arena
etc...

Sure, an arena limited to each primary class would be nice.

Hmm...a guild called wammo and the tag W/Mo....
But on topic, the next person who uses mending in the arena...
i will kindly tell them that mending is not a good idea for pvp...

1 on 1 arenas will never see the light of day on GW for 3 reasons:
1: 55 monk abuse
2: Faction farming N/Me or Me/N abuse
3: No Strategy

i know this just brings up more problems, and may make it kind of pointless, but to make it so they can't faction farm 1v1, just make it so it doesn't give faction rewards. so its just for fun

Would there be faction in this arena? Because if there is...Im going to treat it like a farming place and own it with ripostes and glad defence...(Or a TF warrior...but that lacks healing [hands])
edit:Oh and it must be a free for all with people joining at all times....

Vampiric Touch, Vampiric Bite, Vampiric Gaze means I'll be abusing the 55 monks.

Erm, that would be a contest of who is the better Necro or Mesmer I reckon. We're talking about same primary profession 1 vs 1 arenas, i.e:
- Mesmer vs Mesmer
- Necro vs Necro
- etc...
Well, can't actually say that there is "no strategy". Certainly there is some amount of strategy involved in the attribute points distribution, selection of runes, armors, skills etc.
/signed for 1 vs 1 arenas for the same primary professions

Everyone, no matter what combination they play, should be allowed equality like the other professions.
Plus I beat W/Mo 9/10 of the time, giving me faction

Warrior arena would be fun or a Chalenge option where you can have a 1v1, if you win you get to keep his Ear like in Diablo lol.
1v1 is usefull so Guilds can test a runner v runner, and see how different runners do vs each other.
