yet another, request for character looks change.
I was thinking of the idea, since Guild Wars Factions is about to be released, and i'm sure a wide variety of the Guild Wars community really enjoy the new looks of the Cantha characters. I would like to suggest the idea of one-time and one-time-ONLY option to change your character as you please.
or as some other people suggest a NPC within the game that'll charge you for a character hair/face change. but i think thats a bit too much of a hassle?
and i think the change one-time-only would be a nice little suggestion.
thank you for your time in reading this.
if you wish to add some other suggestions please feel free. if you agree and wish for this to be implemented please sign ^^;

Some people never learn...
Faces in Factions can't be used in Prophecies.

/unsigned because of the "one time only" part of the suggestion.
I want to change my chars appearance whenever I feel like it.

I wouldn't mind a one time change option, but I would prefer a stylist that you could go to and pay for a change.

Poison Ivy, sorry to say, but what you said there is really wrong.
If I buy Factions and Prophecies and make an asian warrior, there'll be NOTHING stopping him from walking around Ascalon City. They've said again and again that "characters from Factions/Prophecies will be able to travel to and fro as they please,".

You'll be able to do that when you make a new character. Poison is half correct however. You will be able to use Ascelon faces on Faction toons, but not. This feature will only work in Factions for Factions characters.
A Prophecies made character will not be able to have Factions faces and hair. They will, if you merge accounts, be able to travel to and from either game continent
/signed for hairdressers, as always, and nada to plastic surgery

Like I said in the other thread, I rather the developers spend their time doing something more productive then giving us the ability to change the way our face looks...

Something interesting would be something that can be crafted in the FoW...
kinda like the "rename card" in final fantasy 6. But instead it lets you change your appearance once. It would get me farming ectos XD. I'm sorry, the ranger skins are SOOO much better than the prophecies ones.
this would also be a HUGE money sink

/signed I like the NPC idea think it would make a great gold sink and I could change the hair on my necro that just doesnt match anything else on him.
/signed I like the one time change idea
I just really want to change the hair on my necro, or just let me dye it to match my armor.

I mean my warrior I like his look, but i like the factions look a little better, i've already gotten fissure armor for him, 20+ weapons customized for my use, and also all warrior skills unlocked, I don't wanna remake my warrior all over against just to get a new look that was I wasn't able to access until now, the one time only is a good idea because it won't be overused you change your look once and that's what you get, this idea would not take a lot of effert for the designers to do, it doesn't take up a lot of space it's not that big of deal of them spending there time, I don't want to start over to get a new look because it would suck I would have spent 5+million gold into my warrior and end up not being able to get a new look for him.

supporting it regardless. First I thought I want to have a change for my Prophecies to turn into a Faction look but later after FPE, I decided to stick with my Prophecies' Prophecy look and create a new character for Faction. ARt combo probably.

Well as I said in the other "similar" thread about this.
Our current characters are:
[1] Tyrians
[2] Ascalonians
Characters that will be created under Factions are:
[1] Canthans (continent)
[2] Canthans (nation) <-- more likely, since that's where the story begins.
Thus the separation is clear.
But as I've said above, if they'll implement a one-time change then it's cool. If not, then I'm fine.
So again, /signed.
