The Old Grizzled Look and Beards
I always thought it was strange that none of the male characters had faces that made them look old. When I first made my character, I wanted to have him go with the Veteran Fighter look, but I couldn't. I found it also equally strange that most of the male classes didn't have access to beards. Long forays in the wilds, you don't have much time to shave. I want beards! Especially for warriors and elementalists.

I see what your saying man..I also though when I first started playing that you would be able to at least have a gruff looking warrior..shaggy beard and long untidy hair...I wanted a "grizzly adams" looking warrior.

Lies! My ranger has quite a nice beard, thank you very much. =D
Of course, one could argue that long untidy hair is liable to be pulled and would place its owner at a disadvantage in battle... but hey, everyone else has long hair and doesn't care about it. =)
It's true, more "looks" would be nice. In other words, subtle facial changes are fine, but more dramatic changes that show a significant change in age would be welcome.

Theres that one ugly old guy Elementalist face...
Otherwise, yeah, I can see how if someone wants that look, that they won't find it in GW right now...maybe everyone in the GW world dies after a certain age...or if their face gets too many wrinkles...

Actually the last Warrior face is quite grizzled. It looks like the face of a man who's suffered through many battles and is complete with a scar through the eye/eyebrow.
Paired with most any hair colored to grey it produces a fairly veteran look.
Yes, it is true that facial hair is not common on the faces. Mesmer, I believe, has the most options for facial hair with about 4 otherwise it's slim pickings.

I'm hoping for a new class that's basically deranged madmen/women.
Berserkers, Eremites, Ascetics...
Dressed in stinky old bear skins, use big, gnarled clubs and have one eye larger than the other.
