Lightbulb Away to record demo/video option idea.

I was thinking, how about having away to record what your doing in the game. I from time to time play another game call Unreal Tournament 2004, and that game has a way that you can record things that you did in the game.

The way this can work for GW games is easy, just add a /record demo_blank(name of demo goes here), then when you want to stop the recording, just type /stop demo.

Then the recorded demo/vidoe goes into a demo/video folder in the game. To me this may help players that think someone is usen bots, meaning the player can send the demo/video to Anet by email. Plus a fun way to show what you did ingame or in an event.

What's are your thoughts on this?

It's a nice idea, but the program Fraps already does this easily.

Oh, that I didn't know. But would it be nice to have it built in the game?

No, because this isn't The Movies. If you want to record a video, use Fraps
or GameCam.
