Default Ether Renewal should get buffed&altered

First off restore it to its former power, when you could like gain 200 hp and 50 energy each cast if you had enough enchantments...
But then limit its effect to 3 enchantments.

So if you have ER and 2 other enchants on you, putting any more enchants on wont affect energy/health gain from casting.

I'm not comfortable with how Ether Renewal works at all... It depends too much on other enchants, AND there's fact that you have to spam a low-cost spell to get much use out of it.
It just isn't any fun to use and doesn't seem all that effective (I was impressed when I first read the skill... but after tamperring with it EXTENSIVELY, I'm not satisfied. Ether Prodigy is my preferred elite)

So, I think they should just change the skill completely!

How did it use to work? Because now it seems utterly useless, except for stone dagger spamming earth ele with all the armor buffs imaginable.

It used to work the same way, but had a longer duration and gave more health and energy per enchantment. It still wasn't really useful for anything based on elementalist spells, but in conjunction with Zealot's Fire it was the basis of a rather powerful FOTM team build.

Rather than capping the number of enchantments, I'd rather see it changed to something that works well with actual elementalist spells. Make the health/energy returns proportional to the casting time of the spell cast, or make it affect only elemental spells, or something.

I like Ether Renewal the way it is now, thank you very much. :/

..although a slight duration increase would be nice. ^^
