I know Anet is hard at work finishing up the factions (if they hadn't finished already) but I was thinking that isn't it time ascalon started repairing itself? Have some plant life starting to sprout from the ashes and some new stuctures being build. The quest don't have to change although a few new ones wouldn't hurt. Rurik didn't take everyone from ascalon to settle into the new land.

The problem with this is new players who have just bought the game would enter a wierd world that doesnt flow from there leaving point in pre searing! So they would need some new servers to run the later ascalon after the titans got released! Some new quests for people who have finished the last mission would be nice though! Hows about fighting an elite group of lvl24 chars with only a 4 man team.

Maybe it could be a part of the Chapter 3 release. That way people with Prophecies still get the normal story and people who just buy chapter 3 won't know any different so it will make sense to them as well. As for people who have both it too will make sense as long as they tie it together.

Connecting a 'new Ascalon' to the rest of Tyria, should happen as travelling from and to Cantha: otherwise you get parties consisting of people who have chapter 3 and 'new ascalon' and people who still want to go to the old ascalon.
What I would like to see in another chapter is a map with a rebuilt Ascalon and a part of the shiverpeaks in the southwest, the charrlands to the north, and some other lands to the east. That would be a nice 3rd chapter if you ask me!
