OK, so what you just suggested is that everyone will be a ranger or ranger secondary so they can have two players on the field, both with their own health, energy, and an entirely extra skill set.
Your out of your mind.
Even if they made an elite "Charm Animal" skill, it should only act as a single perhaps multiporpose activatable skill, simular to Shield of Deflection but for pets.

I'm not saying make the 2 skills into 1. I'm saying stop forcing us to take both the frigging skills with us. Charm should be there to simply Charm the pet, Comfort to Ressurect it, Heal it and bring it with you. Charm just sits there in your skillbar wasting a slot, its already hard enough to use a pet effectively as they dominate your skillbar.
Kill the pet, your useless, kill the master, the pets useless.

What would be the point of brining charm animal then? I can see if there was an elite version of comfort that allowed you to ressurect, heal, and bring it with you, but having it do that without being elite is overpowered.

I can see it now.
It is an intresting idea, and not that bad of an intresting idea either.

If you do give a skill bar to the pet, would be 4-4 ranger skill bar+ pet skill bar? or 8-8 both master and pet has 8 skills total. Or Say Ferocius Strike, Comfort Animal, Charm Animal, Beastial Pounce on PET, and Troll unguent, Res sig, Whirling Defense, Punishing Shot on Ranger?

no ah ah
what is said was that the x number skill the pet has would be removed from you bar, ok you don't need a new skill bar really
here's how it works:
the pet has 3 skill it uses on it's own, the you can have a maximum of 5 skill on your skill bar + charm and comfort animal, anyway, i still think a pet use it's own skill option would be nice

i also suggests for command setting be given to pets..like you can command the pet to stay with you guarding you, or attack whenever he sees enemy, etc, etc..this will encourage more builds revolving pets..except IWAY of course..>.>
well, of course, there is always an issue regarding balance..=D

ye you could say that, anyway i would also like a new option for who the pet attacks.
have anyone played perfect dark on N64 here? the thing there is that you can choose the Al on your team to: attack the enemy like a normal guy, always follow you, hold the postion, protect you etc...
something similar to what nimloth332 said
i would like something like that for the pet too, maybe like the pet could:
-attack your target
-attack the closest one
-only attack enemies that attack you
-attack a random target in the area
-you decide who it should attack, it don't need to be the same as the one you attack
if you think this option is overpowered we could say that if you would like your pet to do something else then attack your target it would take one skill to do it, in other words it would be a skill thet you would have to put on the skill bar....less skills for you
