Default Easyer way to get a group with people.

Ever since ive been playing guild wars on english servers (italian servers are just fabulous, if you speak italian try them out), i thought that i was playing this rpg all by myself.

The only place where you really get to do something with people are missions and the temple of ages, and even there its notvery pleasant to play along with other people.

I found 3 types of people:

1) The guy who thinks he is the coolest and the best with his fow armor and victos things and the most 1337 player and every1 around him is just a n00b.

2) The guy who tryes to be friendly and does as if he isinterested in everything. His nr.1 question is "where you guys from?".

3) I think this is the worst kinda guy. This guy cannot speak, if you add him he will join and he will actually fight and be a very good and active player but he cant speak. It doesnt matter what you say this guy wont say a single word so that most of the time you ask yourself if this guy is afk or not.

Well you see my experience with playing alongside other people in pve was not very good.

The other thing i dont like is that you never really do anything with other people. Quests are so easy that you can do them with henchmen so you will never meet people there. You will only go out with people for missions and uw. Oh and the only time you really speak with people is when you trade.

Basically it would be just been better to buy Oblivion since you are alone anyway.

Ok now i got somehow off what i really wanted to say so if you still bother then read ahead.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

My idea is to add a little menu you can open up in citys, towns and missions wich makes it easyer to locate people who want to do something.

On this list there would be the choice between quest and mission (if you are in a mission place).

If you chose quest then you will have the choice between opening up a quest yourself or joining another.

If you open up a quest you can select the quests you currently have in your questlog and this way you will make other players see that you want to do that quest.

When you want to join another there are the names of all quests active and you double click on one and then you see all people or groups doing it and you can add yourself.

If you chose mission then you can open up a missiongroup yourself or you will see various people or groups that are doing the mission.

If you opened up a group you can add a class filter where you select something like 1W 1E 1M 4X and then only those people will be able to see your group. Plus you can select minimum and maximum level you want people to be able to join so that you wont have to do sanctum with level 2s. This way if you are not an ele and a group wants an ele the group wont be added to your list to save space.

Ok so here it goes again:

Quest - You enter a town and want to do a quest. You open up the menu, select quest, select join and then you can see all the quests people want to do. Then you select the quest you need and you will see all the groups. Then you select a group you want and you can see all members and join that group. Or you select create, choose one of your active quests, choose if and what classfilters you want and then create a group.

Mission - You enter a missiontown and want to do the mission. You open up the menu, select join and then you can see all the groups that are doing that mission. Then you can select a group to see its members and join it. Or you select create, choose if and what classfilters you want and then create a group.

Simple and useful tool to be able to do stuff faster. I think this will even make people do a quest together more, because its so easy and fast that they can do the quest they want in a second without having to bother to ask all people and so on.

Another feature could be added, where instead of you joining a group or making one you can, when you enter a town or mission open the menu and make yourself "available" to the mission or quest you want to do.

These ideas would really speed up finding a party. I'm not sure on how the game would be able to incorporate the filter system. Would the filter only be the primary profession or would you be able to require a primary and secondary? Also would the current "Accept" into party be used or would you automatically fill the required slot? If the current "Accept" system - you might still have difficulty getting into a party.
