3 different play styles
I think should really seperate the playing styles. In factions they sort of done it,but not really.
Just like there is a place for pvp, battle Island. There should be a place for hard core rpg players. Then a place for pvpve players. Seeing that Anet mess up on fractions. They should really have a place just for hardcore rpg. This place would have mounts and everything that hardcore rpg players would want. unfected by any pvp what so ever.

Factions not fractions.
Maybe some more detail on what you are looking for?

dreamhunk, you're really one dimensional. Is there anything else you talk about except how Guild Wars should be more of an RPG ? The term is used quite freely when describing games, there are no real guidelines as to its usage. If GW is advertised as a "CORPG" it doesnt mean that it requires what is generally considered to be "RP" content to justify that title. I understand that this is slightly off topic, but all of your posts bring up this issue.

There has been alot cool ideas for rpg that was thrown out for exmaple. I say that there should be a place in the game where hardcore rpg players have what they want. For a style of play that they like.

this has nothing do with my thread and is way off topic! That is your point of view. But to must hardcore rpg players they would have a different point of view. I think there should be a place for all the cool ideas that rpg players wanted, I could give list. They were thrown out because of pvp balance. There should be an aera just for people playing styles that is what I am talking about

I'm pretty sure it's not a 'point of view' that in pretty much every post I've ever seen of yours you mention something about 'harcore rpger' [sic].
I honestly have no idea what you're talking about--granted, your poor spelling contributes to that, but even overlooking that, you're awfully vague.

It sounds like what you are asking for is a different game. Maybe GW is not the game for you.

Well, if you feel my previous post was off-topic, I'll address your suggestion.

It completely escapes me why this should be implemented. If a player is looking for a certain type of content, he should find a game that caters to his needs. Drastically changing the entire game and further polarizing its communities seems like a poor idea IMO. If someone wishes to roleplay, they may do it within their circle of like minded people or they could try a different game as I mentioned before.
You mention mounts in your post. That is a good illustration of what I have just stated. Its the kind of content that is not expected of Guild Wars nor does it belong with the playstyle that this game promotes. Quite frankly, if you want mounts play a different game.

I'm confused. There have been a lot of cool RPG/PvE ideas thrown about, so you want to create an area where PvPers can't PvE? Or where the skills and rules of the game differ?
I'll assume the latter, where the rules of the game are different (i..e that this isn't just a post that should go in that sticky above...http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=12840)
/not signed
Stretching the programming, balancing, etc. across even more dimensions would detract from the rest of the game. There are limits to how much ANet can do, and I'd rather they improve the game universally rather than cater to each independent interest.
This would heavily detract from crossing over from PvE to PvP. "Nope, sorry, that rule isn't the same here. Go back to your PvE you n00b." (I remember seeing this with people playing AD&D vs. D&D back in the '80s, and that wasn't even PvP vs. PvE).
So we'd now like for THK Spanish PvE and PvPvE, so both can have 4 people in them, neither wanting to move to the other because of the difference in rules (which they are unfamiliar with/dislike)?
I'm a pretty hard core PvEer, and I feel this would heavily detract from me even being able to PvP, interact with PvPers, and meet with people who don't want to PvP.

I am being attack because of somthing I beleave in but no matter i personly think anet think anet would have to go a certen rounte no matter what just to stay a float. The game will change, in long run because people will keep asking for what they want or they will just give up and move on.

Unfortunately, it seems you consider every opinion that doesnt mirror your own to be an attack. You've presented a suggestion to the community. The community seems to disagree. I dont see where you are being attacked in any way.
Why would ANet have trouble "staying afloat" as you put it if the majority of people do not agree with your vision of the game ? This game is directed towards a certain demographic, it cant cater to the needs of every single gamer. Once again, I invite you to change games, simply because it would be better for you. Guild Wars seems to lack what you find important in a game, this is a logical step.
As to your doomsday scenario of a mass exodus of players from Guild Wars, I feel that is unfounded. At this point, everyone understands what Guild Wars offers as a game and the response to Factions seems to be generally positive as well (at this moment). ANet's vision for the game is clear and I dont think they will change its direction for a small amount of players.

the funny thing, is it not majority that ask the same thing over and over agin. I was called a noob for saying I idea i have asked. Can you count the number of threads on mounts for example. mounts is just one example even on different threads.

sign the Petition for RP district thread?
It could be a interesting idea, but really need to add on more details (how it could be done, what could go in there, what would be the different between each, what would the benefit, and possible negative effect of such spread... etc) before it can be judge.

Both great games, I recommend them if you want any of the ideas you asked for. GW is not a hardcore PVE game.

dreamhunk, I'd like to see you address this post please. Some details on your proposal would go a long way towards cementing your credibility. Real concrete details, which should have been in the original post in the first place.

I'm probably not the only 1 who is thinking but, what the hell are you talking about!?
It sounds like you want a battle isles for PvE, surely thats what Tyria is? Minus the low level arenas and everything is PvE content, what in gods name are you on about?

He wants mounts. That's it, no more, no less.
Sorry, dreamhunk, Guild Wars isn't about mounts.
(It's the only certain thing that has been mentioned in any of the posts.)

Maybe its just me, but I always thought that hardcore roleplaying requires certain things from the people playing; one of the most important of these things is literacy, and the ability to communicate an idea. Perhaps you could work on learning to convey your opinions more effectively, dreamhunk. Maybe then we would know what you are talking about and be able to respond to you, instead of guessing at what you mean.

No, I am just not going to post more on my idea. I have already pull out CE for factions. I kinda like the tittle of noob. No point posting when I have been insulted. I am just going to get a different game.
I mean my ideas are not important!
