To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

kvndoom Forge Runner Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Communistwealth of Virginia Guild: Uninstalled Profession: W/Mo	Please re-instate 3X AA in DX9 mode When I saw that older cards were now supported in DirectX9 mode, I was happy! I could switch to the new rendering engine and enjoy Quincunx AA once again! But alas, no... In DX9 mode, I'm still stuck with only 2x and 4x. No "3x" option. Please bring it back! For GW,, Quincunx is much better on my eyes. Here's a comparison: For one thing, the text is much, MUCH smoother in 3x mode, similar to Windows XP's Clear Type mode. This is a lot easlier on my eyes. And in-game, 3x acutally seems to do a better job at AA (removing jaggies) than 4x. So it would be really, REALLY nice to re-enable 3x AA in the DX9 engine. *This mode is only available in Nvidia-based cards. I have a 256MB 6800GT, so please don't tell me to upgrade, because my card is already DX9 and runs just fine, but there is no reason to completely leave out a built-in feature of these video cards.
