Regional Competition Event - Statue Building

Background
The Master Artisan, Even Beautyhand, is on stay in Lion’s Arch. He decided to build a large statue dedicated to the gods at the coast of LA, and is asking the local heroes for help in gathering the materials.

Detail
It will be a shot term community event (set around 5 days). At the end of the event, each region will have a giant statue set up in LA. Anyone can participate. It will work like so…

Each day the master artisan is asking for a list of material to be donated to him. (the list will be different from day to day) Any player of that region can contribute and give him the materials.

The require list might be something like this…

Day 1:
25,000 gold
10,000 Iron
10,000 Wood
5,000 Cloth
10 Ecto

Day 2:
30,000 gold
15,000 Iron
5,000 Wood
20 Black Dye

For 5 Days.
… (and so on. Also that is just an example, so the numbers are bound to change)

If the day’s quota are reach, than he will be satisfy, and work as schedule. But if not reach, than will have to wait another day before he give out the list for Day 2.

There will also be a vote too, for those who contributed, on what god’s statue it will be.
(Dawayna, Balthazar, or Grenth) Your vote will also be depended on what you contributed (so if you donated only 1 wood, you get like 1 point toward your choice god, but if you donated 10 Ecot, you would get more say, and have like 1,000 points toward your choice god) The vote/points are counted at the end, and the statue will be build as that god. Thus depend on the outcome, each Region’s Statue can be different from one another.

During this Event, there will also be a new item call Star Glow Gem. Its to be find in high level areas, as well as HA, and would be pretty rare. It can be sold to the NPC merchant for 5k, but can also be donated to the Artisan. (have no other use beside that) At the end of the event, the Region with the most donated Star Glow Gem will have their Statue build with an extra Glow Effect. (meaning if the Asia finish it on time, and has the most people donated the SGG, its Balthazar statue will be on fire, while a US’s Balth or Europe’s Grenth will be just plain)

Benefit
This event is design for fun, to encourage community, add a bit additional incentive to play, clear the market for a bit, and to have a bit more “competitiveness” between each regions.

So when you go to the town next time, and see that towering statue, you can feel that you play some part in building it, and that no other Region have what you have.

Sorry .... going on a boat trip to Cantha to quest with friends. Won't be able to participate in this event.

no one say the event is now... its a just idea

But a giant Sea Monster Sinking Canthra Boat Event might be good...hmmm
