Lightbulb Character Swapping

I use two characters for storage of weapons, upgrades, dye, runes, crafting materials, and such to sell when the price is right or for present and future characters.

I would like to be able to switch between characters on my account without having to log off and log in every time.

the need to log in everytime u want to use a different character is a security measure to prevent hacking and will remain for good

Right click on your Guild Wars Icon on your desktop and then on "properties". Where it says "Target" you will see "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" ( yours may be different depending on where your .exe is located) If you add the following right after that, on the same line your game will automatically log you in without the need to type your password everytime. This makes switching between characters a little faster and easier.

-password "put your password here

I have been using this for the last year and it works great. And it is not against the EULA because you are not changing any code in any way, you are simply instructing the computer to add the password fro you.

I believe it has been answered before by gaile before why the current system is in place as a way to prevent the *evil brother* from being able to delete all of your toons all at once should you be away from the com and still logged in for example.
