New Character Idea : Voodoo Priest.
Just an idea I was mulling over.
Voodoo Priest
Primary Atribute Arcana.
Adding points to Arcana immproves effectiveness of Black Magic spells.
1. Possession
Adding points here increases duration of possession spells.
SKILL EG: Puppet Master.
Gives the Voodoo Priest control of both NPC foes and/or other player characters, for a set period of time you lose control of your charater, who then attacks members of his own team indiscriminatly.
SKILL EG: Reaper's Refusal.
Gain control of deceased foes for a set period of time, not in the shape of a Necromancers Bone Horrors, but in foes original form, with the same attributes it had before it died.
2. Black Magic
Black Magic Spells potency increases with ever point added.
SKILL EG: Soul Quaff.
Opponant experiences a decrease in his/her energy bar. (Similar to Life Syphon)
SKILL EG: Gravitas.
Inflict strong atmospheric pressure on an opponant, causing extreme pain and a decrease in life bar.
3. Hypnosis
Points added here increases duration of Hypnosis spells
SKILL EG: Cataracts
Opponant experiences temporary blindness. For a period of time 85% of physical attacks miss, or will be dodged. Useful against Warriors and Assassins.
SKILL EG: Spellbind.
Target foe will be unable cast high damage spells for a period of time, leaving them only able to perform physical attacks. Useful against Elementalist or Monks.
SKILL EG: "Are you Okay?"
Target foes energy meter fails to lower while taking damage, leading player to believe he has more energy than he actually has. Death occurs surprisingly sudden, or you flee your opponant, not knowing how much energy you actually actually have.
