Same thing, and I'm ticked off about it to be honest. I should have listened to my in stincts and just bought the CE elsewhere. I paid for overnight shipping and the ONLY reason I did is so that I could have it on-release or a day or two after.
I might just cancel and go to my nearest Best Buy which is an hour away to get it, it may only be a week but what if they push it back again? I'm not willing to wait around and twiddle my thumbs to see about it.
This is more than disappointing to me, it isn't NCSoft or ANets fault, but I can say this, I'm not ordering anything online from either EB or Gamestop ever again after this.

well i most likey will still go becuase i wouldn't mind thei shirt, but i might just do what you said to do, i might just get the nomral verson instead, i have yet to decide. I think its BS about CE, but i know its out of their hands. It must be something that is include with it or becuase they sold out of it, their trying to make more, i have no idea. Time will tell.

I gave up... I can't handle waiting two weeks (plus my crappy shipping which they will not let me change) for a few material items. I'm sure Chapter 3 stuff can offer me better items for a collector's edition. Logically, I'd rather play this game for the extra two weeks without bonuses and just buy the Factions Soundtrack from direct song and save myself $10.
After getting this exact same e-mail, I just decided it isn't worth all the hassle, but I AM IN NO WAY ENCOURAGING YOU TO STOP YOUR ORDER! If you know you can hang on, please do, because unlike myself, some of us can actually wait.

Thats what we get for giveing them more support, F That shit. I'm pissed, we have to wait 1 extra week for giving them more money. WTF? They had plenty of time to pack their product. Its not like it had to go throught testing, since all updates are done through online streaming.
Very disapointed. A simple sorry is not enough.

We have received word from the publisher NCSoft that Guild Wars Factions Collector's Edition has been delayed beyond the April 28th launch of Guild Wars Factions. At this time, we do not have an ETA for the Collector's Edition, although the regular edition is still scheduled to ship on time. This delay affects all US retailers. While I don't have a CE on order, I must say it has been stated several times over and in chatlogs that this is not something that is affecting ALL US RETAILERS.

I'm getting different stories all over the place.
I stopped in one and they said that the CE will be out on Friday and I did pre-order it from them today, no keys, just want to make sure I get it.
I then went to another Gamestop and he said that it was delayed, but they are still taking preorders on it. I didn't exactly pre-order it, but they are going to hold acopy for me.
I was basically told that it was NCSofts issue that the CE was delayed, and it was "an error in manufacturing".
They should release the keys to the store to sell and then ship the box or have us pick them up later.

I just got the great news from EB that all the collectors editions of factions have been delayed!!! What the @#@#! Why? We pay more for the game we should be getting it ahead of time of the regular edition plus all the perks...lol So the collectors edition people get screwed again!
This affects all North American retailers.
We support them by buying this BS and all we get is a sorry? Its laughable!
Cmon Anet you better make this right to your loyal customers or lose alot of them, ive been waiting for factions for a longtime just to get an email right before launch telling me this BS!?.
WE DESERVE BETTER!

I don't really know whose fault this is, but I'm pretty sure I'll cancel my order. I really did want the Collector's Edition, but if I can't play for a couple weeks, well, I just won't bother. I don't imagine I'll be able to find it somewhere else, since it sounds like it's going to be unavailable just about everywhere.
While I'm not necessarily blaming ANet or NCSoft, they could fix this by extending pre-order keys, possibly only if they somehow try to confirm people who were on the purchase list. I don't need the Collector's Edition perks right away, but I do want to play right away. I'm not willing to buy two copies, one CE, just for that.
(edit: ANet *or* NCSoft, since who knows who makes those decisions.)

Yea, at least get us CE pre order people some Extended keys sent out. I can wait for the other stuff in the package but @#$#$ the least you could do is hook us up with some extended keys so we can play like the regular GWF people that ordered regular editions. We pay more to be delayed? That is just not good business practice....lets get some answers here Anet/NCsoft.

The amazing this is my friend from GameStop knew about this about 90 days ago. He said that CE was going to be delayed. So, NCSoft knew this the whole time and didn't bother to tell anyone. Isn't that nice of them?

Well, you can't fully trust brick-and-mortar stores either, even if it is BB or Gamestop/EB Games. Sometimes, they put copies of the game on the shelves later than the release date. If you go that route, then you put your trust in that they will get the shipments on schedule or about 1-2 days behind.
Me, I just went "screw it all" and just opted for the exchange.
