for those that dont know australia was a prison colony of the british empire. they are just punishing you convicts thats all. us law abiding citizens will get ours on the release date

seriously seeing as it appears to be only EB that have the problem i would suggest it is a distribution problem on their end.
maybe they didnt pay the bills or something they are convicts after all

lol j/k

Good thing I have 2 account, even if CE was delayed I can get my regular copy and play with my current characters (which is the most I'm excited about more than the new professions)

As for the CE I guess my Ritualist will have to wait for a bit if the CE is delayed.

Firstly, we'd like to apologise for not having a response for you sooner. We've spent the day since we became aware of this issue gathering as much accurate information as possible before passing it on to you. We're continuing to follow up, but there is some information I can share now.

I can confirm there have been some shipping and distribution delays on the Factions Collector's Edition. We're working around-the-clock to shorten these delays, and to have the CE on shelves wherever possible on the 28th. This is not a global delay as some of you have been told, but we will keep you informed as the situation changes.

I can confirm that the Factions Standard Edition will be available worldwide on the 28th.

I'll keep you informed over the next few days with updates as they become available. Right now, the above is all I can provide.

Thanks Alex.

Is there any chance of extending the life of the pre order keys to compensate for this.

Imagine the frustration of playing for 2 days then facing the choice of buying a normal copy while you wait for your CE(total cost to me, ~£80 UK pounds) to turn up, or having your access expire(leaving you stranded) while you wait.

Besides in many places the Monday is a national holiday, so even normal mail order editions may get delayed for delivery until the Tuesday, thus making the situation worse. I.e Key lasts from 27-29(Sat). No mail delivery on Sunday or Monday. So if people don't get it by Sat am they are out of luck for 2 days..

I realise these delays have more to do with the distribution channel, but say adding 5 extra days would create a lot less disapointment and stress for the customers, the suppliers and youselves.

I second this request. It will be very frustrating for customers that lose game play while they wait for shipment of the CE.

I'm gonna jump on this as well. I would like to buy the CE version of the game but it's not worth waiting without playing. An extension of the pre-order keys validity would seem appropriate if it turns out the version people already paid for is delayed

I would rather just spend less, get less, and play during the first week when everyone is fresh and jumping with joy (I like taking part in that kind of community feeling) than wait for my special dance entourage

Please extend the Pre-Order keys if the situation warrants it so we can keep playing.

I too plan on puchasing two copies of CE; however, I will be pissed when my guild is playing their regular versions before I get to play my CE!!!

Alex - anyway possible that you can make a pre-order key extension happen?

A few more days access on the preorder would be a grand idea. I think it would be a very nice gestrue on Anet's part to show they really do care about their customers.(I know they already care, just saying it would be very nice of them to extend the preorder access).

Default My Factions gets delayed

I've preordered Factions a month ago. It's basicly like the online preorder, you get the codes via mail, but after Factions gets released, they send you the box with CD.

Now, it's 20 April atm and they still haven't got it in stock. I really would like to play before the 28th. So I can join the 24hour before release day (27th).

They have told me that GW: Factions would be sent to me one week or so before the actual release.

Imagine I have to wait another week or 2 to actually get my copy

I ordered from www.mediadis.com btw.

I had same problem here

I also preordered GWF online.
But,
When I saw the messge which said " GWF will be release on Apr.28, and the ship will be arrived on about May.09,"
I cancelled this order........................
May. 09?? r u kidding?

So, I just rather to buy a key on ncsoft store webside,
then I can play GWF on Apr. 28.

.
hi

unless you ordered and received the preorder key you will not get in early even if they get it to you tomorrow.

preordering the game is only reserving a copy and has nothing to do with the SEPARATE preorder package which has the early access

If only Anet released buyable slots before the Head Start - they could make a fortune!

I also support an extension of the pre-order keys. I am in America where it isn't a holiday on Monday so it "could" come in then, but I'd at least like to play during the weekend.

I'm going to say also that I think the extension of the pre-order keys would be a great idea. I hope that ANet can handle the problem and get the CE out to us as soon as possible but in the mean time, key extension would be a good way to stop me biting my nails off.
