Another New Class Idea! Incomplete! Taking suggestions!
I have been looking at a lot of the Concept Classes and I felt that many of them were overpowered and some of the creators didn't take into consideration the value strategy has in Guild Wars. So I decided to make my own class. I don't have a name for it and all I have is one attribute. If you guys like it, maybe you can contribute. I would love to see what other attributes or skills you guys can think up to go along with this class. Criticisms are welcome. Thank you.
Support Class.
Unique attribute. Command.
This attribute emphasizes skills similar to the Warrior's "shouts." However, these skills would be called Commands. The difference is that commands stay active unless they are canceled. There are 3 types of commands.
Basic commands are like spells and do not stay active.
Primary commands can not stack, therefore, casting one primary command will cancel the currently active one.
Secondary commands, unlike Primary commands, can stack. However, you do suffer -1 energy regeneration with each active secondary command.
Commands are only active on allies when they are within the command zone. Adding points to the command attribute will allow the player to have a wider range of command.
Examples.
"Regroup" Cost: 15 Energy. Long Recharge Time
Command. For (3..8) seconds all allies within your command zone have a 75% chance to evade attacks and gain (1..5) energy regeneration. All allies within your command zone can not attack.
"Protect Target" Cost: 5 Energy. Long recharge time.
Primary command. All allies within your command zone other than target ally suffer a lost of 5 armor. Target ally gains (1..3) armor for every ally in your command zone.
"Fire at Will" Cost: 5 Energy. Long recharge time.
Primary command. All allies within your command zone cast 30% faster and deal 15% more damage but suffer a lost of 10 armor.
“Attack Target” Cost: 5 Energy. Long recharge time.
Secondary Command. All allies within your command zone gain (5..10) energy when target foe is killed.

interesting class, i think i might like the idea.
it would help if you came up with more skills and possibly even a scenario or two when some of those skills might be useful

Its a fine idea. I like Commands. You need to add more to make it a Concept class thought...
I do want to write a Commander/Leader/Captain type of class where the primary role is not in the battle field, but supports and giving out orders in the back to make the group battle even better. (but just havn't got much inspire to do so....) maybe I will steal some of this idea too ...
For addtional Contribution, I would want to see "Banner" type of skill. When use, you will hold out a Banner on your hand (much like books or ash) that will give effect too all around. It can be pick up and drop by all allies, or be destory by enemies. Its a sort of Moveable Ward so to speak.
Banner of Courage
10e/3c/30r/ Create a Banner of Courage that last for T seconds. All Allie within the area gain Double Adr from attacks.
Banner of Last Standing
10e/3c/30r/ Create a Banner of Last Standing that last for T seconds. If only one ally (with no other allies around) are in its area of effect, that ally gain +X Hp regen.
Also a direct command shout (effect only a single target) might be good somewhere too.

I was thinking about a skill similar to "Protect Me." But you would target an ally and instead of you gaining the armor, your target ally would.
In that case you can use it as a defense for a monk during pvp when ever he's being targeted and such.

1) pets, do they count as allies? bcuz some of those skills would be way overpowered if they didnt.
2) i kinda like it, but interupting your OWN allies? thats just a big, fat never gunna happen. GW will not allow teammates to hinder other teammates.

i will try to balance it out. i figured that the command zones won't be massive so if a player didnt want to follow commands he'd just step out of the zone.
do you have any suggestions?
