This, would be awesome. Only available to the Rich or the GW dedicated (those with the collectors edition or year old chars), this would be an awesome idea.

There shouldn't be any armor or anything for each minipet. Just a set of skills. And only 8, each minipet has a full skillbar of skills relavent to it. You would talk to someone to enter the arena, then you would be pitted against another player, either randomly, or, if you want to fight against a friend, with specifics.
You control your minipet like your real character, with the same format. You can use your minipets 8 skills to attack your opponent, or just attack them.

For example, say I was pitting my seige turtle against a prince rurik. I could be using a ranged attack, the prince rurik would attack close up. My seige turtle would have skills such as "Mortar" (sets on fire), and it may be using sword attacks. The dragon would be a spellcaster, and so on. You could even have 2 on 2s, or 3 on 3s!

Anyways, it would bring a factor or usefulness to minipets. Thoughts? Also, sign if you want to.

To Clarify: The minipets become more active. And you no longer control your real character. You just control the minipet, like you would control your character.

And no, I don't suggest storing minipets in multicolored balls.

Yeah, I know it looks pokemon-like. It is, really, but mainly, I just want to be able to control a seige turtle.

I know it doesn't have any relavence to the game. It shouldn't really give faction or anything. But I'd just like to pit my seige turtle against my friends necrid horseman. Is that too much to ask? It would add a whole new aspect of play to friends who play the game together, further than just questing, alliance battles pvp, gvg...

A mini pet is lovely as is. Battle is useless. My mini dragon can kill all other mini easily lol

But that would be the point. All minipets would be equal, it would be a test of skill.

I guess it all boils down to me wanting to have a seige turtle as my character.
