its all about content rather than lvl.....NWN had a lvl of 20.......not many complained more attribute pts would definately nelp

i honestly think it was time played as well as skill the whole time the more u play the better u get and the more u play the better items and more mony u have. but i dont think they can bring it past 20 beacause thats how the skills are set up espeicialy in pvp.

Just halve the hp and attribute points gained at level, and raise the cap to 40.
No scaling necessary, all they have to do is use current level 20 enemies to oppose people at level 40.

Being in an elite alliance = elite PvE missions; they are elite because they're faction farming is superior
Being in an elite guild = GWWC+$$$; they are elite because they're PvP is superior

Anet doesn't want the game to become a level-grind like that crappy World of Warcraft. They want all players to hit a plateu quick, and then the difference in personal skill (that of the person playing) is what will distinguish them from each other.
Also, if levels continue to increase, you hit the problem of power creep. Bad players will whine for more power in each new expansion/update, to try to best each other and the PvE monsters. In response, the other players will be forced to "up the ante" to the level of the whiners, and the npc monsters will have to be made harder. This prompts another round of losers whining, which starts a vicious cycle in which everybody is left unhappy.
Numbers aren't everything, and simply increasing the numbers won't improve the game.

your lvl doesnt mean anything in this game other than that fact that you have x ammount of attribute points, and we all know they can't raise how many attribute point we have. there's really no point in this at all.
/not signed.
in fact if they did away with the lvl's it wouldnt change a thing. you would just start to see people running around saying "w/mo LFG 4 mission I got x ammount of att. points"

Why can't you go play WoW and never post on these forums again? While they're increasing the level cap to 40 they should make bows do 3000 damage.

Why do we go through this every 2 weeks. ANet has said over and over they WILL NOT raise the level cap.
They should make a plugin for people who insist on this to add a '0' to the end of every number they see. Then they can be level 200 and have 5000 life and be happy and we can all continue playing our game.
