Non profession based and secondary profession runes
I'm sure this is posted somewhere i'm sorry i couldn't find it but i think there should be non profession based runes. Runes that take away 50 hp but give you an extra 10 energy or ones that take away armour points but increase damage. I'd gladly have a -75 hp for 1 hp regen so i don't need to use something like mending to reduce vampiric drain. another thing that i'd like to see is a secondary profession rune or something along that line i'm tired of wanting to use shiro's blades on my W/A but the 15 require makes it pointless and there is no other skin like them.

Theres shiro's blade (ie swordsmanship) 15 swords, 5/1 vamp, +30 health, 15^50 i believe.
I would enjoy the conditional runes like -75 health, +5 or 10 armor

Okay so i'll explain it a little for you. You know how runes of vigor give you hp and such well why not have a rune of mana or something that gives you energy or a rune of defense where it would be like +10 for minor +15 for major and +20 for sup. Since all the runes now are basicly Primary profession only its not much fun when one is faced with wielding something ie Shiro's Blades because they do no damage due to the requirement is not filled. having a Sup rune of dagger mastery on a warrior/assasin or a ranger/assasin would allow someone to wield an item like Shiro's Blades and any other items arena net may produce that have a above 12 requirement only attainable by boosts from runes.

the rune of mana will be unbalaced as you think.(like energy regen)
why?
Becouse the beneficial will be different for each class.
A elementalist will enjoy the +10 energy less then a warrior.
plus +10 or +20 energy or armor will be far more overpowered then the other rune.
20 energy is 40%+ energy more for the standard naked caster.
if you think vigor is only 10% of standard hp one guy have.

I'm not sure I like the idea of secondary profession runes. Perhaps if they had even higher penalties. Generally though, I think the primary proffession should be the best at what they do.
However, the non-specific runes sound like a great idea. Imagine a rune with -15 energy +1 energy regen. This would be great for some builds. I find communing, for instance, requires a large energy pool and energy regen isn't as important, but restoration requires high energy regen and the pool size doesn't matter as much. Adding this kind of flexibility would be great.
How about a rune of superior health? You gain +20 health and it's stackable. The disadvantage is you're using an extra armor slot that could have been something else.
How about a rune of warding? 10% chance to dodge attacks.
Etc.
Etc.

fiery keep posting lol i don't posses the talent to make my own game either
there are many ways to look at the balance factor and i never said +20 energy you just made that up in your mind or misinterupted the sentence where i said a rune of energy/mana or a rune of armor and if you wanted to do something like +20 energy -1 or -2 regen to the energy pool. somthing to go with evasion runes have some running speed runes or something that would allow classes that posses no speed buffs to move a bit faster even though the only classes that have no running skills are the monk and necro yes the mesmer has that illusion of haste that cripples you but thats not that good. runes that have like 10% reduce to poison and bleeding and burning would be cool but as a downside you would only be able to have 1 of those runes on your character at a time so someone couldn't have all the condition reducers only exclusive to the assasin class.
