I've noticed cantha has access to FoW and UW after i ascended with my assassin just to get him FoW.

I think it would be appropriate for FoW and UW, entered from cantha, to drop factions class items.

Hah? I don't think that would be implemented.

UW are designed to drop "UW items".
FOW are designed to drop "FOW items".

I don't think that fact is going to change any time soon.

Theres no ritualists or assassins in FoW or UW. Why would they drop weapons they dont use?

I think he means that they dont "DROP" factions type weapons/items (like the bo staff for example). They are more in the prophecies line still.

You would have to effectively create a new type of FoW and UW to cater for Cantha... not sure how difficult that would be.

But then again, FoW drop FoW items, and UW drop UW items, as someone already mentioned

I think perhaps it could be done. After all, conceivably a Prophecies-only account can possess a Factions item. They just have to buy or trade for it.

But generally FoW and UW drop things like Shadow Bows and such; things that one can only find in these areas. Perhaps they can drop Shadow Daggers now. A Prophecies-only account can't use them, but they can still trade them.

Factions characters should be able to find Shadow/Eternal staves and daggers in UW/FoW.

Especially if players accessing these areas only have Factions without owning Prophecies. Understandable that the drops may be only for the "Core" professions, but this seems like something that should be added to the game content.

Thank you, this is what I was trying to say.

FoW and UW should still drop FoW and UW items, but they should add FoW & UW skins for ritualist weapons and assassin daggers.
