Elite missions - add more - got IDEAS - post here
Elite missions are cool, ***BUT*** why the hell do they take 3-5 hours?
Ok, I'm not bitching, but not everybody has the time to put 5 hours into straight playing.
And besides GW itself tells u to take a break before you're even done with the mission.
************************************************** **********
Owning towns:
I don't know, but I think the only benefit to owning towns other than Cavalon and HzH only gets you cheaper merchant prices.
There should be shorter elite missions for each town.
Maybe a network of short elites that all lead to the same undergrownd (PvP island type place), where the underground place is a place you can map to once you've been there. Suggesting that there would be 3 different mission there: a short 30min-1hr, a med 1hr-2hr, and long 2hr-4hr, all being hard and challenging.
You could also have an armor crafter in the hard mission. And a new item to collect. The Deep could have "deep jade" a pricier different collored jade for crafting elite armor.
And the kurzick side could be called the Roots and have "blue amber" a pricier blue collored amber.
Just thoughts
please input

There isn't a such thing as blue amber, merely gold/red/orange toned ambers called milk, or honey, etc.., and green amber, which came from fossilized tree and plant saps in boggy areas..If anything, the rare amber would be the green kind, since they only have gold now. But honestly, with 15k armor needed 80-90, and the chunks costing 2k each.. I think that is enough.

sorry but Blue amber is real, so is green, red, and others.
I am a silversmith and I work with precious stones and metal all of the time.
Green is rare but not as rare as blue.
Blue is just the rarest type.
Look it up on the internet.
And It's just a game, I mean how often have u seen a glob of ectoplasm?
And I'm just giving my advise for additional gameplay.
I've gone through both 6 times with 6 charcters and the 5hour elite missions I rarely have time to play.

Even if GW had to make another $50 game, that took place under cantha, I would purchase it.
The game wouldn't add any other character classes, but would add new items and maybe a few skills.

Right now, the only town that matters is either HzH or Cavalon. Controlling an outpost doesnt really do anything (except fireworks and merchant discount).
So add more stuff:
Alliance controlled town will have their banners/capes displayed.
Alliance controlled area will contain a special NPC that gives repeatable quests (like Vision of Glint).
Alliance members controlling a town get a certain cape detail (not as cool as the PvP top 10s, but just a little something...)
The special alliance NPC in the outpost can give you a quest to gain special pets.
Special weapon forger with unique skinned weapons (Pre-Customized)

The positive side to having blue amber and deep jade would be that's it's harder to get, therefore maintaining value. You wouldn't just be able to turn easily earned faction for a piece.
