I am in a guild with numbers swinging between 80-100. We have a forum rank system, with different types of officers. One of these, for example, doesn't have moderator access. And since we have a list that sometimes needs editing when inviting members, it wouldn't make sense to have this officer able to invite.
So ranks with custom names+priviledge settings=Yes sir!

Anyways, I totally agree. It shouldn't be exactly like what you said bu we definatly need more stuff in it.

do we rly need more ppl spamming in the guild chat "I WANT TO BE IN THIS GROUP" "CAN I BE IN THIS GRP" "HOW DO I GET INTO THIS GRP" arn't there already enough who do this becuz they want to be an officer or another way of promoting rank withing the guild by adding "HA rank 6-10" or notes beside players that this guy is rank x "OMGZ IM THE ONLY RANK 10 IN THIS GUILD NEWB GUILD".

Just becuz WoW has this feature doesn't mean GW has to have it otherwise what is the point in these companys making different games y not just have every gaming company merge together to make one game for the entire world that way ppl can't whine that this game has this and this one doesn't. I know ill get flamed for this by somone but it just my opion as it stand now the everyone under members r treated as equals instead of spliting them all up into special catagorys.

The Rank notices, should only be for officers and the leader, so that they know whos who..

"i want to be in this group" (...) -> this increases the motivation of players, or if some ppl spam this around, you can just kick them, because no guild wants to have spammers and little children

the argument with wow has nothing to do with the idea, it was just an example

But u r still saying Game A has this feature y can't Game B just copycat Game A and put all these Koo| features into there game in which case y even have a Game A and Game B other then different graphics. Doesn't necessary have to fall into a wow argument just that is the example u had givien in your first post of WoW has this y can't guild war copy them.
