Energy customization of caster weapons
Well I just found some old green monk items lying around so I decided to just give it to my low level monk. I had no further use for any of them so I was thinking of customizing them to my monk. It occured to me that, why the hell should I bother customizing, it almost has no real benefit for me as a caster that mostly casts spell most of the time. Then I noticed almost no one customizes their caster weapons. The +20%dmg has no real use for chars like my monk.
So I thought, how about customizing caster weapons to give +energy instead of +dmg. I think that would be way more usefull for a caster then the extra 2mg on a wand or staff which almost don't matter in most situations (seen ppl get wanded to death before but I doubt that the damage is noticable). I'm thinking of +3 or +5 energy wouldn't be too much to ask, it could at least help me more than the +20% dmg.
Your thoughts anyons?

the 20% is a global custo on all chars, the reason you can do this in PvE is because its auto on all PvP char weapons, its only there to make PvE balanced with PvP. (and its on PvP auto so you cant make a perfect req9 and sell it off for gold)

I think the OP also intends to change it for PvP characters as well.

If you want +energy on your weapon use a wand with it, leave staves as-is. With this you could have +20 energy on a staff, +15 is enough.
Besides, staff attacks are used so why deny people the +20% damage.

The 20% dmg is fine...
You ever thought about it this way? Staff/Wand gives you 22 damage every 2 seconds. It's damage is just as good as a bow, with the exception that you can't use any attack skills with it.
