While I do agree that sometimes the dye system can be a bit confusing and try and error, that makes it fun in its own right.
At the end of the day I don't think a.net will change the whole dye colouring system when there are other things to be fixed or implemented first.

Even with a more intuitive system of dyes there would be still room for try and error, I think ^^

May be, nevertheless, my suggestion is almost free. And, by the way there are many features which I have suggested or signed, which in my view are just common sense, yet they have not been implemented. So I take this forum talk as a loose talk about what me or other people miss or about what me or other people would like to see in the game, without expecting almost anything from it. So that if anything I have wrote is read or just implemented for some other reason it will be a wonderfull surprise.

I'd like to see the ability to preview what dye will look like on your armor before you apply it. Seems like it would save a lot of trouble, especially when dealing with mixed colors...

you dont NEED to use dye, therefor this would be pretty useless. You are at fault when your mixing dyes, its your money and not A'Nets problem.

The dye system is pretty intuitive actually (in my opinion). Dye remover acts as the armors base color, whatever that is depending on profession. Its only the scar/chaos axes that are really wierd.
Frankly, I think the system works great as is. I just wish different armor pieces would match when dyed better, but that is my only complaint.
