Default Suggestion for improving alliance border pushing + elite mission access

There was a thread on how pointless and how unrewarding owning a town is. This is my suggestion.

Maybe instead of pushing around meaninglesss border we can make the two factions vie for access into the elite missions. Instead of making the areas on the map where the ABs take place, the outpost for the elite missions should be placed there

The side that manages to push their border far enough to (kurz OR lux) are the only ones allowed to access the mission BUT they charge a small fee (say 250g) for people entering the mission.

A certain percent of the profits from this fee is distributed towards each of the alliances that own towns (based on the town they own). So for example, the alliance that holds the capital gets the biggest amount. This money is put into a reserve and each alliance member can withdraw a certain fixed amount once a day. Also the alliances that hold towns can get into the missions for free (if it falls w/i their borders of course)

I agree that there should be more to owning a town, but the suggestion you make would lead a complete circle...
Owning town = Money, some Money goes to people who can donate faction to alliance = Constant Upkeep

I'm not sure about the circle you are talking about....BUT people are already donating faction but for no other reason than to own a town.

Well as it stands right now there is no direct way to earn money from owning a t own, if players got cash for owning a town, they could pay people off to donate faction, ensuring they keep the town without working extra hard on their own...

Well the only people who can donate faction for your cause are your own alliance members anyways and they'd be the same people w/ the access to the money.

As TC used to do, you can invite people as guests who donate faction
So...no, you're incorrect

I continue to wonder why this isn't already the case.

If this was to be implemented they battle lines would have to update and change more dynamically.

But it would be better to make a fight to control outposts, instead of auto-distribute them. And make town ownage more important, like merchants you can pay with faction. For example, when the borderline moves to the east, the harvest temple stills under control of the alliance, but can be attacked by other alliances to take control of the outpost and his advantages.
