Lvl 20 Req For PvP
I think that a player should be lvl 20 to be able to PvP in RA/TA and AB's. Many times ive been teamed up with lvl 16 and unders, and they just sucked. Sure, you may say even a lvl 19 can play better then a lvl 20, but chances are no. First off, theres a possible 45 attribute difference, and about 30hp (I think) The 45 attrib points is a major difference, and a problem. Theres PvP Only chars for a reason. Theres no reason someone under lvl 20 should be doing PvP. Barely any exp, which they need.

On the contrary. I'd like to see Arenas limited to lvl 1-10 and 11-19 then the grand arena for 20s.
Would make for some interesting matches.
Considering the resources available to the lower levels... could see some very non standardized builds and strategys.

I've seen a level 6 in Alliance battle lobby, doing nothing. Not a problem in itself. But, I've seen a level 16, same place, shouting "Who wants a monk? I can heal real good!", and refusing to admit that a level 16 just isn't as good as a level 20. But the most hilarious thing was seeing a guild group of under level 20's in the battle itself. Needless to say, they became a target.
In TA, it's no bit of a bother, as you don't have to team with them, and most don't. RA, however, can prove rather annoying to have them - they make themselves a perfect target (not sure why though, as I'd prefer to leave them till last), they're woefully sub-standard in play because they more than likely don't have the skills or the practice for a good build, and having one can often make other team members rage quit. In short, they weaken the entire team before the gates even open. Maybe if Shiverpeak was open until level 19? Bear in mind Ascalon has 1-10, so it would kind of balance the issue.

Make it a requriment that to enter PvP in the arenas that take PvP-only characters your PVE character needs to be level 20 with all 200 attribute points.
I would also suggest that if charm animal is on your skillbar, you won't be able to enter PvP in those arenas unless you have a pet that is level 20. Though I do enjoy killing a low level pet just for the blackout on its owner.. Especially if they then res it

Actually, I'd like to say I DID see a very, very interesting lv.17 or 18 once.
He made himself lower level so the other team would attack him first, and pumped himself to be a tank and reduce damage to himself. Thats ALL HE DID.
It was pretty funny, because it would work for the first few minutes. We got about 5 consecutive wins in that group.
But other than the rare occasion, yes. I'd really like ONLY lv.20s in my group, please.

Hehe, i think arenas for different level players would be cool, and the ability to choose level when making a pvp character. I am sure lvl 10 only random arena is a very different game from lvl 20 random.
On the subject of banning all under lvl 20s from RA its not a bad idea but not a great one. A lvl 20 may still have a substantial 30 point deficit, and to be honesy what is really needed in RA is a wammo filter. No leeroys beyond this point kinda thing.
So, /signed basically, but i doubt it would solve much.

It is sort of unfair to leave them out. Besides, they will learn better.
The thing is, people who don't know any better and go into arenas at level 16-19 probably aren't that experienced. When they hit level 20, they still won't be experienced. A level 19 isn't really that subpar in RA (which is a joke) as much as the fact that the guy playing him is obviously new and will have a bad PvP build (thus why it always seems like those level 19s are aweful). It is sort of like a newbie alert title displayed while PvPing. Now if only we could get something like that for all the n00bs (echo mending ftw!).

Arena is arena. If you're going to play RA, then don't complain about sucky teammates. It happens. ITS RANDOM. If you don't want a level 1 on your team in an arena then DON'T PLAY THE RANDOM ARENA. Use common sense on that. Just because someone isn't lvl 20 and trying to rawk the RA like a hurricane doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to play arena. For all you know, it's their first char, and they want to check to see how they fit up with other people on a team.
If you don't like a lvl 19 or under on your team, go to TA. You can make sure all of your teammates are level 20 or above there. Trust me, I do not lie about this. There's a party window that allows you to view all party member information in regards to level, primary/secondary professions and names. Don't complain that your party leader let anyone in and went into the arena either, because you can start your own party, it's not difficult.
If you don't like a teammate being a lower level than 20 in an alliance battle, then I suggest you get into a pvp alliance group. They don't allow people under level 20 in. If your alliance doesn't, too bad, so sad, get into a new group. Don't play a competitive game and complain that your team sucks, because you're the one to choose what team your on(unless, of course, you suck, they hate you, and won't let you in).

Already have that. Ascalon arena is for lvl 1-10 and shiverpeak is 10-15? I think.

Yes, it is unfair, but they can make a PvP char or go to the other arena's like ascalon/shiverpeaks.

I agree. Just because their a lower lvl shouldnt mean that they cant play RA. But, most lower levels are crap. I'm not saying all are, because Ive been with some exp lower lvls.

I dont think people who want a chance to win a PvP battle should have to go to TA.

While I agree most under lvl 20s in PvP bite, I have found many that don't. I even met a lvl 13 Warrior in RA that tanked as well as I did and killed two of the enemy...it was scary. Granted we had a monk for back up but I watched his health, it rarely needed healing...

lower lvls are underpowered. That is true and undenyable, but keeping them out is unfair. I have lvl 20 chars but i admit i don't shine that much in pvp. However there ARE low level chars which give a good show in RA (few, but they exist). If this is implemented I'm sorry to think ppl are scared of being beaten by a 'low-lvl) char. now with the update that you can buy any skill you've unlocked it's easier to make good build at lower lvls.

I see no practical reason why anyone would bring a <lvl20 char into RA where98% of the characters there are lvl20.
Its like handicapping yourself and your team consciously and unnecessarily.
Yes, teamates with sucky skills are terrible, but those that bring lower lvl chars into pvp are much worse (lack of common sense if i may be bold).
