I thought it was supose to be around every 6 months. At least thats what some guildmates told me. Not truly sure when they will come out.

weve been talking about the next expansion Nightfall. and yes it is every 6 months cuz 2 different groups work on 2 different expansions so they get actually 1 year

Wow next person who calls it an expansion is getting a swift kick, yes the content seems less but A.net claims it to be a stand alone game.

It is a standalone, for the simple reason that you do not need to own anything else inorder to play it. Expansions REQUIRE that you own some form of original game. For example, Neverwinter Nights is a standalone game, Neverwinter Nights: Horde of the Underdark is an expansion, it requires that you own the original. Amount of content really has no bearing on whether something is an expansion or not. I've bought standalone games that I've completed in 6 hours, or less.

That new expansion better not be 80% for lvl 20s, I hate that! I hope they add more stuff to do then, kill and sell.

1 game every six months.

The team making chapter three is the team that made chapter one I believe, so I hope that it goes back to the old style of training up levels more slowly. While faction's form of leveling faster is fun it takes away the sense of accomplishment from the game and I prefer to take my time and savour the moment when you reach a higher level.

get used to it because it was mentioned over a year ago that chapter two and on would be AT LEAST 80 % level 20 material for the previous players.

they are not making another chapter 1 with half the game leading up to playing.

I just hope the map is bigger than factions.... 2/3's the size of tyria with overpopulation??? ok...
