Henchman Commnads /suicide
Lets hear what everyone has to say about this-
Sometimes you just cannot get a group, maybe you are in an odd outpost, or u just feel like questing at ood hours. Well Henchmen to the rescue, maybe? I know i've been annoyed at not being able to issue them a simple command like /wait and not have them attack until i ctr + click. Or here's a good one. Let see how many apprecaite this- I'm looking to cap an elite in Mineral Springs, no groups interested, few groups around in general, so i figure it's an easy enough task, i'll just grab some hench, get my skill and be done with it. Well, after clearing most of mineral springs and not finding my boss, i head back to an uncleared area, somewhere along the way, 2 of my hench got caught between a rock, going back and forth. I didn't realize they were not in my party untill I died and my active hench died. I click on them only to realize they are caught in some bizzare loop and will only go back and forth, the healer and little thom i think. Anyway, since they are not under any threat they won't die, and i have no way to kill them, like /suicide or somesuch.
As painful as it was, i hightailed it back to Granite very upset and angry, a good hour or so wasted over something stupid like that! Let see if we can't get anet to add in some useful hench commands, hell even in PUG PvE groups you sometimes need a hench or two, how usefull would commands be eh?

Yeah happened to me once. I took a video of it because I planned to send it to ANet in an angry email, but in the end I couldn't be bothered.
I was in the Maguuma jungle with a hench team, on that really long quest that makes you rezone loads. I was nearing the end of it, when everybody starts dying. I decide we should run, and me and Reyna make it out alive. But I had some poison on me, and no self-heal, so I died.
That was how we all got separated. Now Reyna, who did have a res sig, starts running towards Alesia, in theory to resurrect her, but then she goes too far from my corpse, and runs back. Repeat ad nauseum. There were also no monsters near enough, so she wouldn't die.
I went to the shop and left it running, but she was still running backwards and forwards when I came back, so I had to close it and start that quest all over again.

had that happen to me numerous times. I don't see how a command like that would affect gameplay besides pleasing alot of angry players.

Sorry, Anet doesn't care about the henchmen. Many people here can play this game blindfolded and hands tied on their backs, and think henchmen are way to smart already. You are talking to deaf ears. Forget it. This game has the most stupid henchmen of all internet games. Get used to it.

lol are all your posts always full of so much rage?
I've seen you posts loads of times and your always right to the point aren't you. The henchmen are only as stupid as their programming, so yes A.net may or maynot care about making them better.
But we don't know if they do or not, so lets not jump the gun...

Politics is not my forte. Our henchmen are stupid. The healer still crushes your face (Standing right on top of you)when she has to ressurect you. They still die in about 3 seconds flat, when you encounter a spirit rift spamming boss. Anet can make them smarter, just like the aggro mobs already are, but they force you to stay in empty towns waiting for an occasional player to come along.
I deleted my healer in Hell's precipe, because I didn't have to be there. It was pontless, and I couldn't do it with hench.

What would be interesting is if henchman's AI improved or progressed the further along in the game, relatively the same as a typical human player. But as mentioned before that isn't anything anyone would do though.

It was a spike healer. What is more simple than that? These titans did more damage, to my henchies, than I could heal. But we're getting off-topic. The OP wants henchies to commit suicide on command

Henching Hell's in only a matter of slowly drawing one group at a time from the portal area. Longbows ftw.

During a zerg rush on the "kidnapped son" mission everyone but the Spirit hench wiped. But he was out of aggro range and so we lay there watching him move to rez our healer, (real person). He'd move close then turn and run away again before he drew aggro. Repeat ad nauseum for around 15 minutes.
We (my buddy and I) were sorely tempted to just map back and do it again but I loathe that mission with such bile that I would not leave. At this point we only had a couple of lvl15 bowmen and a lvl15 cleric left amongst the smattering of lvl7 and 8's so I hated the thought of doing that meat grinder again.
Eventually, after the aforementioned 15 minutes, the mobs moved and aggro'd on the Spirit hench and he sucked dirt so we could all rez and finish the quest
We honestly couldn't believe that there wasn't a command to kill you henches or to force a res of at least yourself.
