I'm sorry, but this is one of the most absurd suggestions. The Champion title is indeed a "high end" title and people who work so hard to make it to the top do deserve it. The Gladiator title could probably be the "middle" title for the casual pvpers who don't have the time to grind all the way up to the top in gvg.
A title would be worthless if everyone would be able to obtain it. There are obviously "rare" titles and "common" titles and should stay like that.

I agree with the original poster.
There is no point whatsoever to playing GVG due to no worthwhile reward for it. Champion title is nice, sure, but it's next-to impossible to get for anyone who is not a member of a top 10 Guild.
Special trim on a cape or Guild ranking is worthless because what if you have to leave or get kicked from your Guild for any reason (ie: leader just feels like being a total jerk one day and kicking people for no valid reason), then you lose all that. For those reasons, getting it is not so much as a "reward" as a kick in the face when the reality dawns on you that no one should have to be stuck in one Guild forever to keep his rewards from it.
Putting in fame and emotes for GVG would at long last give GVG an actual point.

This is due to the reason that the GvG title will be achieved by ALOT more people very very shortly. I mean, the seasons now are short to say the least, because theres a championship, when there isn't a championship, seasons go longer and more teams get 1500+ rating.

But I don't understand everyone ranting about HA. I play it sometimes too, just because it can be fun trying to work out strategies with a random PUG, and I like the rank emotes, well just r3. So what?

/notsigned but somewhat agreed with...
You can gain Luxon and Kurzick faction from Alliance Battles and the Aspenwood/Jade Quarry PvP and you can turn that in to your Alliance and work towards the Luxon/Kurzick friend/contributor titles.
You gain fame in HA, which goes towards your Hero/whatever title track.
Heck, TA and RA have gladiators titles
The third primary large group PvP, GvG, should have some sort of recognition system to it that more people can actually attain. Lots of people GvG but are left out becuase everyone else has the opportunity to show something for it but the GvGers don't. Great - the current title is a high end title, just do it like the Rank titles - that way the guilds in the top 10 there will surely have the highest title while the more casual GvGers can at least be proud to show something , a lower level title, for it.

It was bad enough that the rank snobbery was already rampant in HA, now getting worse since alliance chat was implemented. People forming groups for this and that even in my own alliance demand a certain rank a lot of the time. Hell if I want to see rank snoots dominating both HA and the GvG aspects of the game. There are enough labels going around as it is.
