There is nothing 'anime influenced' in Factions. The style, decorations and such are mostly from Chinese/Japanese culture, architecture and style in general.
The only 'animu' in Factions are the player names that people have chosen, thinking they can be as c00l as Naruto/Kakashi/Whoever was in that 'tarded show.

Here is how I see the differnce.
http://www.yale.edu/anime/imgarchive/Naruto/group2.jpg
Anime Style
Where character propotions (mostly the eye, face, and hair) are distorted to bring out more characterization. Also the coloring style tend to be more cell shaded.

Anime Influence Style
Mixture of western comic style with japanes anime style.

Anime Styled Game
Now, Anime style can be argue as part of the Asian Art style (or a branch of it), but can not be say it is the whole of it.

From Lineage II, more toward Asian Art style, but should no be call anime style.
Compare to a more Western style

(From Fable)

(DAoC)
Can see that there is a differnce. The face tend to be finner (especially on male character), the skin whiter and smoother, and body more thin, with the 7 head body propotion. A bit less realistic than that of western style. Also there tend to be more rich patterns and/or layer of cloth.
Can see the influence from the old Japanese style of art, such as this.

Other game of similar style could include L2, Silkroad, Granda Esperda, and Final Fantasy, etc.
So you see, cann't really call L2 style as anime style.

I rather not see that happens. Linage 2 are WAY WAY over doing it. Those bows in there don't even look usable.
I already starting seeing Guild Wars start having weapon art that's over done. Typically zodiac bow and felblade, they are way too big to be swung with efficiency.

Have the Linage dude take care of the armor and weapons (improve their looks / add more types of weapons ), leave the story to the Guild Wars team

Er so you dont like good looking weapons.
Get a default Sword with 15^50% and stop going against creativity.

This thread is pointless and full of off-topic posts.
Just because a thread has a stupid topic doesn't mean other forumers can start talking about irrelevant things. Please refrain from such off-topic posting temptation in the future.
