User Interface Changes
1) I would like to see a textline in the chat window when I change districts or towns. As it is now, If I have been scanning through districts, I cannot tell what district a particular comment came from.
-- Lion's Arch (American District 3) --
2) Add an indicator (change color of first letter of character name?) to show which player(s) is(are) drawing/pinging on the radar map. I have been in several PUG where the directions from the nominal leader were swamped by massive pinging and scribbles on the map. Yes, you can quit that PUG, but that is not always a desireable action (2 hours into FOW).
3) When there is not enough energy available for a skill, or the skill is not available for any other reason (such as Binding Chains) dim that skill's icon in the skillbar in the same fashion as an adrenal skill is dimmed when the character does not have enough adrenaline.
4) I would like the ability to save the chat window to a text file.
5) I would like the ability to have more data appear in that log:
a) Enemies killed/Killed by - Killed:Level 14 Ettin or Killed by: Level 30 Bone Dragon, Snarg Whuppup
b) Areas entered: Entered into Iron Horse Mine: Explorable Area
c) Entered Mission: Borlis Pass with: <character name 1>, <character name 2>, etc.
6) The sounds for the following conditions are the same:
Invalid Spell Target
Your view of the target is obstructed.
Not enough Energy.
I would like to hear somewhat different sounds for each.
7) The \ key selects the nearest enemy then the ] the next closest and [ the next farthest (with wrap between nearest enemy and farthest enemy). The ; selects the nearest item (chest, sign, loot), but there is not a corresponding dey for next and farthest item. I would like the [ and ] keys act as nearest and farthest of the last class of items selected. Enemies or Items.
8) I would like the option in the control panel to toggle the function accessed with the Show Targets key (Left-Ctrl) and Show Others key (Left-Alt) to be always on or controlled by a key.
