Mantra of Recall
I dont understand this skill. This doesnt seem to fit the general descripton of a "mantra" for a few reasons:
1. its an enchantment not a stance
2. it has a casting time of 1 second
Those are significant drawbacks because since its not a stance, it can be removed so much more easilly. So if you use it right before going into battle and the first thing they do is strip it, youre screwed out of 10 energy. In some cases this can be helpful because you can get rid of it at will with CoP, but not all builds can fit that skill in it because it would mess it up.
If its interrupted, you lose instead of gain.
The fact that its an enchantment, means you cant use a 20% enchant mod if you want this skill to be usefull. If you cast it again while its still on you, you dont get the energy, it just renews it.
Maybe the skill should just be called "Recall"

Makes sense.
It should either be made to be a mantra, with 0 casting time and it being a stance, or they should change the name so it doesn't go against the other mantras.
Although it can't be recall, there is an assasin skill called recall.

Try covering it up with another enchantment

Well, if I remember correctly, once upon a time, it WAS a stance. But people could end it easily using another stance and get the energy whenever they wanted. Or something like that x_X My memory of early GW is sketchy at best.
I never really understood why it was 'Recall' at all, personally. I think "Ether Battery" or something along those lines conveys a better sense of storing away your energy for the future.

I think Ether Battery definitely sounds like a better name for "Mantra of Recall", which does not fit in line with the various existing Mantra skills.

oh man, mantra of recall as a stance would be so sweet...turn it off with hex breaker, gain 23 energy or whatever, and also get hexbreaker up for a while...pretty fun.
meh, I have bigger things to worry about than the name of a skill, just be glad monks can't turn off mor with hexbreaker, or we'd all be very sad.

You cannot make it a stance. The first thing a Warrior will do is come up and Wild Blow your ass losing the investment of MoR.
If it is a stance, and monks use Hex Breaker to remove it for quick energy, the net energy gain at 11 Insp' would be 9, making it pretty much not worth it...
However, it is a powerful skill when used correctly. It needs to be "strippable" to allow some sort of counter against it, so it will never be changed from an enchantment. Using a 20% enchantment mod only screws up your timing anyways you shouldn't really use it, if you use timing for protection as you could over lap skills needlessly.
Edit: I do agree on the interruption. I allways interrupt it, 1 second cast + Recurve + RtW + Conc shot FTW. I would like to see it changed to a lower cast time, making more of a challenge for me and fellow Interrupters and adding more of a safer energy gain for Monks. You can pretty much count to when they will next use it, 20 seconds without an Ench' mod, and when Guardian lasts 6 seconds, count to 24. Well, I am kind of writing a guide on interuption here, so i'll go ;p

By the way, monks can already remove "Mantra of Recall", by using "Contemplation of Purity".
Just that it removes all Enchantment Spells as well.

With Mor you still gain the energy regardless of when it ends. Wild blow would just mean you got the energy immediately. And who runs wild blow besides iway?
I also don't think anyone suggested changing it to a stance.
and you're totally right about the stance switch, but it would still be cool if hexbreaker wasn't so expensive.
(of course, people sometimes cop it off and have to put boon back up, which is basically the same thing)

I think the fact of MoR being an enchantement is actually to have it stipped more easily (thus gaining energy) but not no much at will... except for CoP.
I'd say to change casting time to 1/4 seconds or 1/2 unless they rename it.

It's recall because you give in your energy (the casting cost) and then you recall your energy that you gave in at a later stage.
I think it's fine
