1 arrow of degen/regen is 3 HP per second.
Vampiric gives 3 health stolen per hit, and 3 health lost per second.
Also, I think 1 arrow of energy degen/regen is 0.33 points per second, or 0.25

That would negate the point of having a vamp weapon. The vamp amount and the leech amount balance each other out while you're attacking at normal speed (unless you have a shortbow), so all the mod does is add +3 (or +5) damage.

The reason why the -10 while attacking mod is only for attacking is simply because it would be too weak if it was -10 armor always, and if it was -5 armor always, you could balance it with a +5 armor mod. The designers thought about that very carefully when making that mod.

Compare the -10 armor while attacking mod to frenzy, where you deal higher damage on the risk that you take higher damage.

sorry but that would negate the point of the vamp as said because then you would get a serious gain from the vamp, I like the idea but there has to be some downside to vamp, like 15>50 if yer under 15 it is weakened, vamp, if you aren't attacking there is a negative. sorry /notsigned

Don't make people hate Sundering more with this idea. No one will use Sundering anymore and use Vampiric instead

I'd almost say yes if only it were to save those warriors in RA that don't swap weapons...

But really, vampiric is fine as it is, no need to buff it.

I'd think that the max version of the mod is supposed to be an improvement for a weapon, not the other way around. Vamp mods need no nerfing.

Not sure about the propsed change ... I think if your 'natural' regeneration would kick in as normal there would be plenty of regen to compensate. I would favor that, but not a lot, switching isn't such a big problem.

Over-powered. There would esentially be no drawback. I'd put a vamp mod on every weapon I have. I'd even try and fit one on my caster characters .

There is a simple reason to be against this, reducing the degen unbalances the power, just because you can get around the degen by swaping weapons doesn't mean you should make it even easier. It is the best weapon mod, let it be difficult.

Changing the Mod: Costs time and money for ANet to implement, download times, resetting your game, and fixing any potential bugs that may arise from it.

Manually Switching Weapon Sets: Takes less than 3 inches of hand movement and 1 click.

i dont think thats such a good idea although it kinda makes sense...i think what should be fixed about it is though while you have the weapon on it gives the -1 regen but also the game thinks you are in a battle as you are taking damage and does not give you any natural regen i think that needs fixing tbh

EDIT: the button that says quick reply is very misleading....
