Extra Storage Space
I understand that people feel the need to hang onto many items. Personally, I do this. You do it, everyone does.
whether it's a collectible, rare, green, or just credits you run out of room eventually.
The material storage was a great idea in concept, but Anet underestimates many people. How many stacks of Iron Ore do you really need? Not 50+, but some players feel the need to hang onto things like this in a "you never know" type of fashion.
This, until now, wasn't that big of a deal. Sure, you can juggle around some items between characters, spend 50 bucks on a new game to use those extra slots as new storage, or just start trashing things.
But, what about the new feature added to the game, very recently? I'm talking about $9.99 for an extra character slot.
You can have 20+ extra slots. Sure, that's over 200 dollars that someone would spend to get those slots, but think of this: You can not, under any circumstances, store everything from those 20 characters in 1 storage account.
Why not let us purchase extra slots, possibly by the row, for our storage?
10 plat for 5 extra slots is reasonable to me, as it would reduce the money circulating in the game and help players out positively at the same time. It won't unbalance anything, and there are enough players with way too much money and nothing to spend it on running around right now.
Or, how about, $4.99 for an extra storage tab added to our main cache? 5 bucks for more room is worth it to some people.
Obviously, these prices could all be negotiated before release interdepartmentaly, but the logistics work out in such a manner that it would not only improve gameplay for many, but it would give many players a reason to stick with something they enjoy doing: hamster style gathering.
So basically, I think we should be allowed to get more storage through spending some form of money.
Hell, even if you could "rent" storage space for X amount of Gold per day / week / month...that would be awesome in and of itself.

How would virtual ingame gold pay for real life server bandwidth, hardware maintenance, database management/staff and various other costs.
And extra storage has also been suggested so many times before, please use the search function next time.

1) He did also suggest money could be used
2) storage has been suggested in a "We want more storange...now!" kinda way. His argument atleast constructs a valid reaon why we may want a lil bit more storage. Although personally if u can afford 20 extra chars, you can afford one as a mule.

and how can anybody possibly play 20+ additional characters above and beyond the 4/6 they already have?]
you are talking an additional 900+ additional storage slots at 45 slots per character.
you need professional help soon....very soon......maybe it already too late

I find my storage to be mostly empty now that I have a materials tab. I think that comes from each of my characters using their last pack as an armor/weapon pack - I have it unchecked so it won't be merchanted and I have always kept most of the gear on it's appropriate character.
That being said, I wouldn't mind having more slots to fill...

If you went back to school and took basic reading comprehension, none of this would be an issue.
Characters all share the same storage. We are now able to purchase 20+ extra character slots. With each character using the same storage, things get cluttered...fast.
I Personally have 6 level 20's and am working on a 7th. After that, I plan on buying one last slot and leveling the last class that I don't have to 20.
I know that some people might want to do the same thing, some might want even more slots for pvp builds or just random things they want to try out.
So please, just because you can't understand something doesn't mean it isn't a good idea.

I think the best chance of seeing extra stroage slot now is by paying for them (with real money)
As above said, the purchasible character slot work very much so like extra storage.
I dislike paying more money for such thing, but it is a reasonable option, and no one is force to buy it.

Or, you don't understand that it's pretty unfair to the consumer to put them into situations where they have to give up a character slot just to hold items for other characters of theirs.
It's unfair, and no one should be pidgeon-holed into doing things like this.

it is a lot better than buying extra accounts (which i have) and doesnt make me use both pcs just to swap things around.
people have said they would pay 10 bucks for another storage vault and with a single 10 dollar slot they get 2 and a quarter vaults storage space.
it is a bargain

I usually fill up the two Bags (10 Item Rune added) with just the most Basic Armor and Weapons needed for the character to be effective...If I want anything extra on the character like a "fun" set of armor, or many choices of stats on weapons, I usually have to fill up the Belt Pouch too. One character is dangerously close to having to flood over into the BackPack..
