Character development
I'm not talkign about personal stories...
hmmm....(maybe later)
I'm talking about the appearence.
Everyone has the same clothes... I look around and I don't see characters... I see aload of recolours.
Whats needed is a system where, from a huge list of componants peice together custom armour.
Upperbody:
Base
Shoulders
Sleeves
Breast
Neck
Coat/robe
patern
Lower Body:
Base
Tights
Skirt
Patern
etc...
Then choose stats from that armour (arm: 20/60/90/etc)
Then chose the extras like runes and things...
Then based on what you've chosen, colours you've chosen, and stats and upgrades, the system deals out a price, amout of materials needed and dye needed.
That way everyone will be different.
This would also mean, when your dying clothes later on, you can chose what part of the costume your gunna dye.
eg.
Me, Performers Outfit - i really didn't want a brown leather waistcoat thing... I wanted to dye it but I couldn't... also I wanted a black shirt underneath.
i don't know if this makes sense to you guys but what you think? If you don't understand I'll try to explain clearer...
