Cool capes for PvE guilds?
I doubt that anyone will actually agree with this, depends what type of guilds you're into i guess. Also, if this has been posted somewhere else then sorry.
Anyway, Guild Wars is suppossed to be equally rewarding in PvE & PvP, so why is it the only way to get your guild a cool gold/silver trim for your cape is only possible through winning GWWC or open-events etc. ? I think ANET should prmote and reward PvE & PvP equally, it would really improve the game and would encourage those people that lead 1 man guilds themselves to either make somethign of their guild or join another one so that they don't use space up (if you know what i mean  )
In other words, if you get some super PvE guild with 4000000 members throughout 40000 different guilds, and they all happened to be Guild Wars guilds, then what has that guild got to show for it? Sure it'll win Guild Of The Week, if it's lucky, and then be popular for a while, but then it'll dissappear. I think that guild leaders should be-able to apply for fancy capes with a VERY good reason of course. Similar to applying for Guild Of The Week maybe? I dunno, just an idea
