Virulance is bugged { Video }
Virulance causes a random sometimes multiple conditions on the caster ATM heres a video to prove it. the sin is a guildie using not 1 poisoning or disease condition.
Is this skill supposed to do this? I dont recall it ever being this way.

Please lest get this fixed soon.

I fail to see the problem. The Assassin starts out bleeding, which he then passes to his opponent with Plague Touch. Since the opponent is now under a condition, he casts Virulence, which inflicts Disease, Poison and Weakness onto a foe who is already suffering from another condition.
Unless I'm totally missing something.

I'm pretty sure that when you gave the sin disease, since you're a human too, it just spreads to you, not a bug in the skill.

Yeah I don't see anything wrong either, you should re-read the skill description.

i have no conditions on me virulance works on enemy only. the sin does not have any such skills to cause the condition or pass those cause to him back to me. this is not in its description.
So when virulance activates why do i become randomly poisoned, diseased or weakened along with my target?

You become diseased, like Terra said, because Disease is passed around between fleshy targets.

If its in PvP disease is spread to all of the same species (ie you). In PvE it acts diffrent.

It is the same mechanic regardless of where you are in the game. The difference being that NPCs are generally not considered human, and therefore in PvE it is impossible to inflict disease and become re-infected. In PvP you play other "humans", so you can.

He means since everyone is a human in PvP, it spreads to everyone. In PvE it affects only its species (IE Stone Summit).

He implied that the mechanics of the skill changed, which was incorrect.

Euhm. Instead of arguing about disease, take another look on the video...
Assassin use Jagged Strike, Necro starts bleeding.
Necro use Plague Touch, Assassin Starts bleeding.
Necro use Virulence. Since the Assassin is bleeding, Virulence triggers.
Since Necro is close to the diseased assassin he becomes diseased too.

End of discussion.
---
In case anyone's wondering why it's closed, JR- beat me to it, while I was cleaning it up. The issue is resolved anyway, so I'll leave it closed.
There was a lot of blatantly off-topic flamebaiting/trolling going on before the clean-up, hence the moderation action.
