Default Buggery (game bugs)

I've noticed a couple bugs in the game:

Petcheat.

Example: You enter Imperial Sanctum mission with a charmed animal+a pet.
You talk to kuunavang. You get her to replace Charm Animal with the celestial skill she teaches your proffession. Your pet remains whilst charm aniaml dissapears. This is wrong because it says 'ASLONG AS YOU HAVE CHARM ANIMAL EQUIPPED you pet will follow you and the like' Well I dont have charm animal equipped and my pet's still out.




Tripwired bridge.

Example: You enter the Zen Daijun mission. Your party dies at the part where you must finish off the last group of afflicted at the end of the bridge, with the afflicted monk boss. All but 1 party member is left. The afflicted group return to their housey thing and then the member runs up to the bridge to rez the monk. This is where the bug kicks in. See as soon as party member steps on the bridge, the whole group of afflicted run out of their house and attack me! Not only is it unnerving to see their ugly mugs charging at you, but you weren't even stood in their aggro zone, hell you couldnt even shoot them with a longbow the distance you were standing. Yet they keep running at you time and time again! I eventually had to give up as they got me to 50% health before I had finished my spell EVERY SINGLE TIME.


Please fix this.

That Imperial Sanctum one is funny, the only thing that they could do would be to either make it so that the skill simply couldnt be replaced, or that the pet would... simply become hostile to you. I don't like the concept of Charm Animal in the first place, they really need to implement the possibilities of Pet Storage, it will explain what happens to them when you dont have charm animal equipped.

The bridge thing doesn't just occur in the area that you spoke of, there are a few monsters that act in this fashion when party members die, it is perhaps intentional.

The Official Prima Guide offers this as a hint to help destroy Shiro. It is the only way you can get 9 skills in the game. But having your skills disrupted by the pet death for eight seconds when Shiro is almost dead sucks.

it's not really a huge issue about pets, they get dp anyway >_>

I was beginning to dread what people were suggesting for GW when I saw the title "buggery" . Anyway... I'm not sure about the bug in Zen Daijun, as Terra said it could just be intentional but then the reason for that if it were true is questionable because there's no logic behind it.

The Zen Daijun one sounds like it was put into the game for a reason, but I agree that the first one should be removed.

Mera, the first one isn't even a bug, it doesn't need fixed, nor does it need removed.

The second one can be explained by simply saying "My bridge, get off human!"

Well, the first one is a bug & an exploit. Though its a nice exploit.

The second one, Well there are lots of other Foes that has their "aggro" bubble increased after they have been attacked once. I dont think its a bug, just that those monsters are more alert than usual.

Now some other Bugs
---
In Vizuna Square, Mhenlo sometimes decides not to talk to Togu -usually happens if the Local Vizuna gang kills all enemies before the Foreigners appear. Even though I have read that the bug has been dealt with -i occasionally see it, despite that.

Anyhow Mhenlos refusal to speak to Togo, causes the game not to proceed, and waiting for Mhenlo to get smart doesnt help either.

Sometimes people fall right through bridges or stairs & inadvertidly gets stuck, unless they can commit suicide (with life sacrifice or life degen weapon) & some brought along rebirth, the mission usually has to be resigned.

Gyala Hatchery Siege Turtles hit by Kursick Dreadnoughts sometimes get stuck on their backs (normaly they should return to their feet)and stay that way regardless of cinematics .
--
Fort Aspenwood (luxon) If the Kursick team spawns a a gate on top of aSiege Turtles, the unlucky Turtle get stuck; even when the gate later gets breached (which must be a bug)
