Bows...
I think that bows should have more slots for upgrades, simply because they're the only class that cant get more than +30 hp from weapons, or maybe they should just increase the mods for bows
warriors get a shield
casters get offhands
rangers get just a bow...just doesn't seem fair mod wise to me
wat u guys think?

unnecessary. Bows are ranged, so you aren't in the thick of battle (usually), meaning you receive far less melee damage. Furthermore, hammers prevent the use of shields.
I'm happy with "just a bow."

As a primary ranger 90% of the time, I think anything more than "just a bow" would make us overpowered. We are already some of the best damage dealers AND support classes(sorta...blind/conditions are always good )...we don't need a buff, which in this case the buff would be quivers or something.
Not needed...although Wilderness/Beast/Expertise req'd weapons would be nice...like staves for trapping and stuff, dunno wtf expertise would use, rofl...anyway...we don't need a buff...

Yeh, i wouldn't mind a 20/20 wilderness staff or a 20/20 expertise for running with +5 energy it'll be better than wenlauses faith or what ever

Beastmastery taming whip FTW!!!!
(Even though i don't play a ranger, that would probably entice me into playing one - probably a female with 'Mistress' in the name )

This isn't a ranger problem it is a 2 handed weapon problem. Two handed weapons all have less possible mods and typically less overal benifits as well. Staffs have 2 less energy, Hammers don't have nearly as many mods and capabilities that an axe or sword plus shield can net, Bows and Daggers have less mods than dual equipment options as well.
Two handed weapons should have have up to two more mods than dual equip weapons with off-hands, that is a simple balance feature. They make these weapons slower to compensate for their higher damage.... and yet they are totaly missing the amount of mods dual equipment can offer. And Daggers...... Daggers........... sword speed with a few extra hits...... and the lowest damage in the game.
You would think that because 2 handed weapons forgo the use of an offhand and its energy or defensive additions that these 2 handed weapons would simply be stronger, but they arn't.
As for Bow Quivers, I don't know about having an equipable off hand, but I always though that the damage type the bow does should be based on the arrows, not the string; Unless the ranger is going to walk up and saw the enemy with his barbed bow string, it isn't realisticly improving the arrows. They could make the bow and arrows or quiver part of a the single bow weapon, and allow the string to act as a different mod, wile the arrows determine the damage of the .....Arrows.

Ok looking thorugh the sell pages i realized something that bows were misssing(don't know if its alrdy been mentioned or not).....
A bow grip(or string but that may be a little overpowered) of preparation that would make preparations last like 5-10 or 5-15 or 10-20(way too much in my opinion) % longer
I think ranegr should have this considering staffs can have the +1 to a specific attribute and warriors and assassins can get things speacial to their profession(+1 to strength sheilds and +1 to dagger mastery weps, etc) but rangers are the only class w/o something as special as that, for instance you can only get +1 to marks not +1 to wildnerness or expertise or beast mastery on your bows
I didnt want to start a new thread, and this seemed to fit in this one nicely so if you leave a comment for the op plz try and leave a comment for me too as to whetheror not you like the idea(or if you have alrdy heard it adn I am completely unoriginal lol)
