You would have to expand the friend list, otherwise everything would be all jumbled. And if they are nice enough, wouldn't you remember them?

I realy dont care much for this request in particular, but a way to send PMs to offline friends i would realy like to see implemented.
As well as some sort of way to exchange items / cash whithout the need to be present at the same time and on the same outpost ***cof*cof*** wow ***cof*cof***

I don't want the ability to send messages to offline friends in-game. Thats what messenger services exist for. If they want offline messages from you and know you well enough, ask them for email.
I get enough people I don't know sending me PMs when I'm online, tyvm. Giving them the option to PM me whenever they want would make it doubly bad.
It also opens up stalking "issues". It would be less concern about adding mroe people to your friends list and more concern about how much space there is in your IGNORE list.
I would like to see both lists sizes increased, however.
