International districts primarly in unpopular towns and outposts?
In does cities and outposts where its really hard to find groups, would it not be an indea to put people as a standard into international district, regardless if they come from USA, europe, japan or korea? That way instead of having all nationalities districts almost empty, we can get one that is almost full!
Certain parts of factions and prophercies is just really unpopular places to be, so if you need a group for a quest or a runner or something else, it would be great if people could band together with people from all over the world.
the problem is that normally people dont use international districts, because they start in their home districts. so if we took all the home districts and put international district 1 as a standard, it would be alot more easy to find people?
im not suggesting doing this in popular places like Ascalon city, or LA. But just places where therer are almost no people at all.

When there aren't enough people in a town to fill a sinlge district, why have multiple districts each with only a few people in them ?

/signed... only because some people hardly realise there actually IS an international district... then they quit the game because they can't get further in it >.>
I even teamed up with some Chinese guys once, we hardly communicated, yet we cleared the entire Abaddon's Mouth island, and did the bonus while at it (even though i already had it... but they cleared the backway only for me since i needed an elite there... so i suggested doign the bonus ^^)
anyways... /signed (again)

The main problem with this idea is communication. If you can't communicate with your group due to the language barrier, it would almost be easier to hench the area.

I agree with that communication is important, but look at the other sides;
players might be able to understand simple commands
you can still hench the area, but now at lest you got the option to choose foreigners.
a game with more people is better i think. its nice that you dont have to feel like that you are alone in the world.
a good opputunity to meet players from around the world(litterly) outside of competitive pvp.

There are a lot of areas that I get really frustrated with in finding a group, on top of that I check out the international district and it is even emptier than the home ones. With all the guys in internation districts in low populated areas, I would expect to see placed that never have extra districts, have them.
Definately a good idea.

As long as going back to a home district is still an option.
But if there's a group of gamers from different continents, isn't the connection a little less stable?
As for language barrier, by now I'm sure there are plenty of gamers who are experienced enough to know what's going on. If someone is calling targets, anyone anywhere would know to click on the target box and attack the same target. That sort of thing, should be no problem.

honestly, i like the idea, as sometimes i'll switch games, just because there arent enough people in any given area. im a nocturnal pacific timezoner, so that doesnt help either. Again, language barrier is the main problem. here's my recommendation. have a series of pre-set phrases accessible through a set menu that are automatically translated for all party members. ping and map draws are helpful, but dont do anything. something like "Pull to here" or, "Ranged Attackers only." yeah, its an idea thats been run a few times, but i think that when coupled with the idea presented in this thread, they both become more applicable.

Well most people can understand a called target.. hopefully. Maybe some basic command emotes just to help. Ive seen a ton of empty districts, And Non existant internationl districts (The city was so empty there were no districts. The server created one just for me when i wanted to go to that city). If we can shove these people into international, Thats even better. Though communication will be a keen problem.

i know how frustrating finding group members are, esp in unpopular/wrong time of the day
but how do we understand each other?! other than simply radar drawing and calling?!
